Story

Pre-Hogwarts

Out in a small shack in the woods lived a somewhat large family. A family of wizards, who crazy enough to call that shack a home, lived happily. This is where Kamryn grew up. With her spectacular mother, her paranoid dad, and her three older brothers. Each already in or graduated Hogwarts. Kamryn was born full of wonder. Coming out smiling and never letting that smile fade. She followed the footsteps of her brothers who would practice their magic outside in the woods, much to the disapproval of their father, and try her hand at magic. Waving sticks and shouting whatever her brothers would say. Nothing ever did come out of it, but the magic along with the general rough housing was enjoyable to her and her siblings.

Come Primary School, Kamryn was never more disappointed as to be reminded time after time that her magic was a secret that had to be kept. This fact didn't keep her from milking every bit of joy from her time there. She was a rascal. Always getting in the mud and wresting her male peers. Sadly making her somewhat disliked by the girl, and bullied by the boys for the fact that she very clearly a girl.

Kamryn has enjoyed every bit of her first year. She was not surprised by the Gryffindor placement as that was where most her brothers were place as well as her mother. She's taken her classes very seriously. For the most part. Only really giving the most of her attention to the classes she sees as cool. Classes like the Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms. Leaning back on her brothers whenever she needs help.

Katheryn is a proud witch from a long line of magic users. She sees the magic her family preforms as an essential beauty of life. Pushing her kids to learn magic to the best of their ability. Making her relationship with her husband tense at times. She met Aaron when they were both in their 5th year of Hogwarts. Somehow the man got himself stuck in a tree with no one looking like they were about to help. After giving him a hand, the two of them hit it off. The rest is history.

Yet as an acomplished wizard himself, Aaron is no stranger to the world of magic. In a way amplifying his fears ever more. Aaron works as a mail carrier in the muggle world. Occasionally taking time to do more "important" things. These being a wizarding job he refuses to tell him kids about.

Despite the family's best effort, Leo is a hot head. Snapping at people in the halls who look at him wrong, or challenging someone to a duel even though he's well aware of the repercussions. Despite this, he's somehow pretty popular. Kamryn looks up to him as the great wizard she wants to be.

Born only months after Leonard, it was a bit of a hit to Thomas' emotions when he learned he'd have to wait another year before also joining Hogwarts. Thom takes after his father the most of all the children. Probably the only one that does. Unlike his older brothers and younger sister, he dedicated himself to the study. Leaning more into potions as it's what caught his fancy the most during his younger years. Is the one all the siblings look to for cram study support.
