Reducio Bridget has grown to be of average height, if not slightly on the taller side. While duelling is not the most physical of sports, the endurance it has built coupled with genetics and habits retained from her time as a Beater have made her fairly athletic; her skill still lies primarily in agility over raw power. Her hair is a dark brown save for the lighter streaks it gains in the summer and reaches her shoulder blades. Most of the time it is held back in braids, the waves from which it holds well were she to wear her hair down. Her eyes have been described as both hazel and simply a lighter brown, the green tones dependent on lighting.

The first thing apparent about Bridget for most is that she's quiet. Generally reserved, Bridget does open up around people she is comfortable with but feels awkward around those who fall outside of that. Most of the action is happening inside her head, anyhow, as she is observant and introspective, mind a well of strategy, connections, and, at times, paranoia. Calm and collected unless you catch her at a particularly bad moment, she values logic over feelings and tries to keep the latter restrained.

She aspires to be fair, and has indeed been able to see people past their surrounding reputations. At the same time, holding grudges is a pattern she continually falls into and Bridget often lets her battle lines be drawn by friends and allies, something that can put her at odds with another before giving them a chance. Though not a good thing in itself, it stems from a deep loyalty to her own, striving to be someone they can depend on to have their backs and unwilling to let them face danger alone.

In a situation where it often feels like she can barely keep safe even a few people, Bridget has become quite perfectionistic. Failures could be fatal, which is why she pushes herself to be the very best she can be, to be capable and powerful. To her, there is little worse than being useless. She wavers between what she beliefs is the best move--whether intervention lessens the ill effects or makes things worse--but a constant is her sense of responsibility for what she did or didn't do.

When not caught in yet another dangerous situation, Bridget retains elements of being a normal teenager. She is highly competitive, where the other half of her efforts to improve come from, a good teammate, a listening ear, and while perhaps a bit of a workaholic, not incapable of easing up and having fun.

Wands of laurel generally indicate an owner who is driven, and by no means lazy. This is a precise indicator of where Bridget stands. She is no-nonsense and directly to the point when it comes to conversations, although her social values are high. Laurel owners are also on a quest to be known by other people; to gain recognition for their well-earned achievements, a large part of which can relate to athletics. In her dueling proficiency, Bridget fits this bill as well. Two other common traits of laurel owners are that they are powerful healers and they are more prone to overconfidence.

Bridget is generally very benevolent in keeping her pride in check. While she may not have a specified interest in healing itself, she is a good worker in this area. Furthermore, when Bridget has a goal, she finds a way to achieve it. Once she has an idea of what has to happen, she will lay out a structured set of steps to get where she aspires to be. Laurel wands will push their owners to their maximum point if they do not already possess this trait. Although she is more of an introvert than the typical laurel owner, Bridget values the connections she does have, as well as her image.

The unicorn hair core, according to Mr. Ollivander’s studies, is the hardest core to turn to the Dark Arts. Owners’ loyalty is unwavering in the slightest, and the owner is usually quite in tune with their emotions (though, if not careful, could be overwhelmed by their own feelings). Bridget’s loyalty to her beliefs and relations is very strong, but she can sometimes distance herself from her feelings rather than drown in them if overwhelmed. Unicorn hair reflects the owners’ general loyalty through the core’s loyalty to the owner’s magic. It also excels in the healing and defensive magic, making it the ideal partner for laurel wood.
Laurel wood works well with unicorn hair; in fact, the two are one of the best ideal combinations. When the unicorn hair is magically exhausted (a significant drawback of many unicorn hair cores), the laurel wood will push it on due to its high emphasis on diligence. While the laurel wood at times may want to impatiently cast spells, the unicorn hair will slow it down and allow the owner to take the reins.

A wand of 25.7 cm (10 in) is slightly shorter on average, but mainly balanced. It indicates perhaps a shorter temper and a bit more of an introverted character, all of which fit Bridget well. An inflexible wand is not necessarily an unyielding one: It is to be considered more synonymous with “unbending”. The wand, when being used, will not “swish” through the air, but be more of a hard feel during casting. It also reflects Bridget’s views: depending on how comfortable she is with a person, she will voice her opinions. Most of all, however, she will be unmoved even if she is coming across as having her mind changed.

Overall, an excellent wand for the healing and defensive departments, as well as Charms, Divination, DADA and Astronomy. This wand performs well all-around with the exception of general offensive spells. Due to unicorn hair’s aversion to the Dark Arts, it will have more difficulty performing hexes, curses or jinxes, although the owner may be determined enough to pull it off. Both the wand and Bridget are direct and productive, putting on a good show for others and are fairly well-balanced at their cores (no pun intended).
