Backround Information: Reducio Dale was raised in Stanford, California where his father worked as a researcher at Stanford University. Dale’s love of science only came naturally by living so close to an institute of science. His father further fostered his curiosity in those topics, much to his mother's dismay. Vija Kurt wanted Dale to be more interested in writing and reading, constantly trying to get him to read her books and trying to get him to write his one, to no avail that is. Dale was much more interested in his father's work, but he loved his parents both equally. Eventually, his family moved away from California and back to England, where his father had lived before.

Jamey Kurt was born into a middle-class family in America, he was interested in physics and chemistry at a young age, all through his high school career his parents would insist on him going out with his friends more, or trying to get him to get a girlfriend. But Jamey had no interest in that, instead, he spent his Friday nights studying and running small scale… and sometimes dangerous experiments. His hard work paid off, Jamey graduated highschool as valid victorian, and then went on to go to MIT. During his time at MIT he met someone named Vija, Jamey was put off by her at first, but soon he realized she was just like himself, just trying to learn more and live life. They soon hit it off and despite being almost complete opposites of each other, got married just a few years after.

Vija was born in India to two middle-class parents, as a young girl Vija loved to read, but she was restricted to a very small amount of books because libraries were thought of a men’s only place where she grew up. But that did not stop her, once she graduated high school, she was given the opportunity to come to America and study at MIT. When she arrived at the college, she spent the first few weeks in the library. And that’s when she met Jamey Kurt. Vija noticed that Jamey was almost always in the library when she was in there, from the moment it opened to almost right before it closed, sometimes he beat her to the library. Eventually, the two hit it off and became friends, studying and taking classes together. Vija and Jamey got married not too long after, the rest is history.

Dale’s early life was as unmagical as one could get. As soon as his family moved out of America and into England again his father started to endlessly teach Dale about his work as a chemist, Dale barely understood most of it, a few things stood out to him like the names of a few elements and the most basic concepts. He started to pick up more and more as the years went by, by age 9 Dale knew 90% of the periodic table. His mother was also a prominent figure in his early life, more so than his dad, at least that's what she claimed. She had the young Dale help her in writing her books and articles, while he wasn’t much help at all, sometimes even slowing it down by asking her “what’s that word” every 5 minutes, but she didn't care, she was more than happy to help him learn.

Jamey Kurt spent lots of his time in his garage lab, it was small but it got the job done. He had fashioned the lab by himself, everything from the huge gas outlet to the all of the shelves. On this particular day, Jamey wasn't the only one in the lab, his then 8 year old son was there too. Dale was sitting in a chair about 8 feet away from Jamey, far enough to see but also far enough where he wouldn't hurt. And it was a good thing he was since the shelves were prone to "failing" as Jamey called it. Vija Kurt could recall 5 different time where the shelve and all the glass/metal on it fell, luckily it was never near Dale or Jamey. Sadly.. This was not a lucky day, Dale could see the screw break as the shelve started to fall, he screamed and jumped out of his chair, it was almost like it went in slow motion for him, he could see the glass about to hit his fathers head, but he also knew he couldn't do anything but yell and hope his father would move. For Jamey it was much different, all he heard was a snap, Dale screaming, and glass and wood hitting the ground. He looked at his, both of them had a face of pure confusion.

3rd year disappearance

It was the worst owl he could've gotten. Before Dale departed for his 3rd year at Hogwarts he knew his mother was not feeling well, she made frequent visits to the doctors. She and His father assured him over and over again it was just the flu or something similar, and Dale bought it. But now he re-read the letter over and over again trying to fully understand. His mother, his guiding light, was extremely sick due to a lower respiratory infection. The letter included a medical document. Dale quickly scanned through it and almost cried, it was fatal. Dale wasn't sure how to feel, it felt fake, wrong, like a nightmare, he bit his tongue to try to wake up from this horrible dream. But it was real, and it was going to get even worse. But for now Dale left Hogwarts, due to his fathers work, Dale was the only one who could watch over his mother. He continued his studies from home as his mother said. He took care of the house while also watching over his mother, helping her finish up her last book and writing letters to her family back in India. Months and Months passed by in a blur of crying and watching his wonderful mother getting weaker and frailer until finally on May 20th 2021 at 2:00 in the morning while a thunderstorm boomed outside, Vija Kurt had passed away.
