Cassiopeia Papadopoulus - 1st year - Hufflepuff

History/Background Story: Cassiopeia, or Cassie for short, is one of the many children of the old Papadopoulus Family. The family had for centuries been a pureblood family, but recently there had been some ‘accidents’, what some members of the family would call it. For example, Cassiopeia’s grandfather Cosmas Papadopoulus married the egyptian witch Neferet, that was born as the daughter to two muggles. At some point in time, the family gave up on trying to cover it up and has become a bit more lenient with family members marrying outside of the pureblood families of the wizarding world.
Actually Cassiopeia’s mother Eris, is a halfborn witch herself, which is unknown to the general public, since her father had never been publicly announced and it was just assumed, that she was a pureblood witch.
From a very young age, she has been raised together with her many cousins and older siblings Apollonius and Calliope. This has resulted in Cassiopeia being a social butterfly, but also very easily attached to others.
Because of her family’s reputation, Cassiopeia has been trained in proper interaction with other high-ranked members of the Wizard Community and was taught all the greek mythological stories, which is where her family is originally from.
Because of her relatively sheltered upbringing, she has never interacted with halfborn or muggleborn wizards besides her close relatives, which do not like to talk about their life before marrying into the Papadopoulus family, or actual muggles. She is very openminded towards them though and is kind of nervous, about meeting the first muggleborn witch or wizard outside of her family.
Cassiopeia first came in touch with her own magic side, when she accidentally made her mother's teacups shrink to half the size, when she didn't want to drink the terrible herbal tea, her mother had made to get rid of a nasty cough at age 8. In her family Cassiopeia was a rather late bloomer, which worried her parents and relatives and this incident was actually a great relief for them.
