Appearance: While youthful in appearance there is an undeniable aura of status & smug pure blood pride when he smirks. Piercingly vivid sapphire eyes that look upon all as if it is his to do with as he pleases. Often wearing a stylish eye-patch & finely tailored clothes. Pale skin with the elegant features of his noble blood.
Personality: Possessing the Pride & authority that was often associated with the lineage of his bloodline. He is an ambitious youth & is willing to do what it takes to achieve his goals. Although one could easily forget that given how often he acts contradictory to his nature. But Geoffrey loves studying those around him. How better to do so then via subjecting them to different stimuli & circumstances.
History: Having grown as the second child of the Household Geoffrey was given more leniency with his interests. Unfortunately he had very little interest in the muggle world. The little interest he had was to show how magic was superior to their primitive way of life. Some of Geoffreys most important moments as a child were his times spent doing observations with his parents. Or the times his sister Erin & himself discussed their magical futures. He’d lived a relatively normal life given the profession of his parents & his lineage.
Though his lack of socialization has clearly driven his desire to understand humans better. Although for someone with very little experience socializing outside of his family dynamic. Geoffrey demonstrates an aptitude for adapting & navigating social circumstances. But that was because Geoffrey had been taught the dangers of their social circles & the precautions he must take due to his true lineage. What reactions were expected of him & the type of company he should keep to disperse any doubt about who he was.
Despite the reputation & facade maintained by the family. Geoffrey along with his sister were not Pureblood's. Not by most standards, you see his father had a particular...weakness. A fondness for Veela that had resulted in not just one but two children. After Geoffrey his Father was forced to take measures to ensure there would be no more mistakes. His Mother never treated him any differently & he never felt unwanted. But he knew that he was different, he could see the subtle fear hidden in her eyes whenever they had guests. Not that young Geoffrey or sister Erin ever gave them reason to fear. They knew what the truth could do to their futures.
Despite what his family had taught him Geoffrey was not ashamed of his true lineage. He'd searched through books in his Fathers study & found that there were often benefits to the offspring of such couplings. They also made him understand the concern expressed by his family that the truth would be exposed, if they weren't careful. Geoffrey was eight years old when he had his first incident of accidental magic. His Father had a peer over & the two had gotten into a rather heated discussion on the topic of genetics. There voices had become quite raised but it was when the term Half-Breed entered the topic that a water jug between the two men shattered. Everyone in the room jumped unaware of who's uncontrolled emotions had caused the event to pass. With a wave of a wand the jug was repaired & it's contents restored.
Tempers settled & apologies were made before the topic of conversation returned to one of less tension. The two men began discussing an issues that had with the current system of governance. How the regulations imposed upon them only served to hinder any true growth among their society. They believed it imposed far to many restrictions upon them for the protection of lesser beings. The boy would finish his tea & excuse himself to his quarters. When in bed he would lay there wondering if he had been the cause of the explosive water jug.
When his parents informed him he'd officially been accepted into Hogwarts this only concerned the boy's thoughts. Soon after his parents arranged for him to proceed to Olivander's for a Wand. Much to their delight he was chosen by a 35’8cm Walnut Wood & Dragon Heartsring Wand. Geoffrey eager to have a wand finally felt the last of his fears depart. The thought he could be a squib had stuck with the boy when he first learned of the poor souls.
