Appearance
Millie has long black hair that goes to her back. Her hair used to be around her upper back for the beginning of first year, but when she visited her mother, she magically made it grow longer. Since then, Millie has been taking care of her hair and making sure that it's always washed and never greasy or messy.
The two most extraordinary things about Millie are her height and eyes. She's unusually tall, but not giant-esc height. She stands at 5'6 or 170.7cm. She's very proud about her height, but is certain that she won't get any taller.
Her eye color is a stunning shade of violet. She isn't entirely sure where she got this from, but her mother says its from her great-grandmother, Lucille Gemino. Her mother hints that it could be from the same great-great grandmother that she got her height from. Millie isn't really sure, though.
Her style is interesting, since she really likes to wear baggy t-shirts and leggings, but she can also rock a dress or a skirt and tank-top. It really just depends on the occasion, or  whether Millie is feeling up to being fancy or not.

Millie is definitely an extrovert, she always has a big smile on her face, and is always willing to go the extra mile just for something fun. She can easily go up and talk to strangers, and definitely isn't afraid to get her point across.
Her ability to make friends very easily, is what sets her apart from most people at Hogwarts. She can go up to anyone, the meanest of people, and walk away friends. Whether it's her charismatic ability to make anyone smile, or her ability to emphasize with everything, nobody knows.
Despite her friendliness, Millie will totally fight anyone if they mess with her friends. She is extremely loyal and cares about her friends so much. Sure, she can get her moods, but doesn't every girl?

]The day was June 11th, 2007. It was special, exciting, to say the least. Andrew Millie was waiting patiently for his fiancé to come out of the medical room. Preferring to have the baby in a muggle hospital, instead of St. Mungo's, the process was slower. Why, in Merlin's pants did Naomi Gemino decide to have the baby at a muggle hospital, was beyond her pure-blooded lover.

When she did leave the room, clutching a small child to her chest, the two needed the name. It had been discussed over various months, and finally come to a conclusion. Euphrasia. It meant good-cheer, kindness, and everything in between. Her middle name would be Destiny, as such the couple believed in. And, since they were getting married soon, Millie. Euphrasia Destiny Millie was alive, and real.

Being a witch was difficult, as such found out by the young girl. Euphrasia never liked being called by  her first name. Preferably, Millie, or Destiny, or whatever name her family called her. But, to not insult her mother or father, always listened when called by it. And besides, her name was insane, and really long.

Attending muggle schools growing up, Millie learned her morals, or a few of them. She learned how to speak English, and funnily enough, French. It was weird, but her parents guessed that she learned it from other students at daycare and at school.

The first time she experienced magic, Millie was sitting patiently in her room. At seven years old, with bad ADHD, it was difficult. Yet, she was still preoccupied with playing with her toy truck. In a burst of bored magic, the truck grew about two sizes, and made loud, roaring sounds. It made Millie so happy to watch a truck make noises, and sometimes move around her spacious room. When her mother came in, she was shocked, to say the least.

When the owl tapped angrily at the window, Millie took a few minutes to wake up. She released the owl of its burden, and smiled giddily at the letter. She opened the letter, and stared at the Hogwarts seal. Untouched, and pristine. The words seemed to embed themselves in her mind when she showed her mother and father.

And so her story began.

A Parselmouth's Way

They say being a Parselmouth (or a Parseltongue) was eradicated from the dark arts. After all, Salazar Slytherin himself was one. Even worst, the feared Lord Voldemort happened to inherit the trait as well. But how could such a family who was very against the dark arts have a beautiful baby girl, who just happened to inherit the ability? And besides, nobody in Euphrasia's immediate family had the talent!

Again, the immediate family all inhabited the northern part United States of America, and, the other part of the family was mainly in the southern part. Euphrasia had never known her other part of her family, and neither had her mother or father. Whenever brought up on topic, her mother would look away, ashamed. Her father, became a fit of fury, and would begin angrily shouting and saying words that not even the devil would say.


So was the other part of the family the reason Euphrasia had inherited Parseltongue? The appropriate phrase for this would be 'One right and one wrong.' Yes, she had inherited the ability from her opposite family, but that wasn't directly it. Her grandmother had also had the ability to speak with serpents. Though, it would take her years to find this out, since her parents hadn't been very truthful to her.


The incident happened on the sixth of December, 2014, just after her first burst of magic. Euphrasia was only seven when she began whispering things in a very strange language. At the time, the family was taking care of a snake for a friend, very ironically. When her mother, Naomi, began to inspect her daughter, she screamed when she realized her daughter and the snake were talking. Having a full blown conversation about like, rats, or something. At that moment, the only thing that mattered was getting Euphrasia away from the snake.


There would be no dark-art children under the roof of the Millie house. However, Andrew had been able to convince his wife that Euphrasia wasn't a dark art master. After about thirty minutes, Naomi began realizing that it was stupid that her daughter could've done the dark arts. Her daughter was SEVEN! She hadn't even acquired a wand yet, but the thought was still scary. After all, VoldyMoldy had been after Muggle-borns.


So that was it. Euphrasia had acquired the talent from either her distant-relatives, like her great-aunts or something, or her grandmother. The latter was more obvious, but the former could've also been true. The only thing was, Euphrasia was going to have to learn just how to control her ability. Even if it meant hiding a part of herself from her friends, and family.

Entering The Chamber

Now was the time.

As Millie stood in the doorway of the Girl's Lavatory, her nerves perked up more and more. It was an early Saturday morning, and nobody was awake yet, and she had full access to the bathroom. Her fingers clutched the book in her hand. The title was old and faded, but someone could make out the word 'Parseltongue' on it. Perhaps that was the only word in the title. For, Millie had never been able to figure it out.


While the book was old and faded, the words inside were not. She had managed to find the book from something her grandmother packed. Now thinking about it, had Ophelia meant to pack the book, in hopes Millie would realize the truth? Find herself a true Parseltongue? Who in her great ancestors had even been a Parseltongue in the first place? She knew some people in her other side of family was, but nobody else. Why hadn't she asked her grandmother before the old woman died? It was very frustrating, to say the least.


But now she stood in front of one of the taps in the bathroom. Her eyes laced over the faucet, and watched the rust on it. It hadn't been used in ages, and Millie knew why. If all was true, this was where she would speak the language, to enter the Chamber of Secrets.


This was her test. To prove if she was, or wasn't a Parseltongue, as it was almost impossible to mimic the language, especially when she had never heard it before. In the book she possessed, the very words she had to speak were labeled, though, the majority of her thoughts were guesswork.


She reached forward and twisted one of the handles. Nothing. She half-expected Moaning Myrtle to appear and make fun of her, but the ghost was nowhere to be seen. Nothing came out of the tap, and Millie could feel the moment coming close. In a few seconds, she would see if she could enter the Chamber of Secrets.


Leaning forward, Millie took in a deep breath. It was now time.


"Open." Her voice sounded very scaly, and within seconds, the sink was sinking. Every bit of terror was seeping into her veins. She had actually spoken Parseltongue, and a pipe appeared, large enough for a grown man to slide into. And definitely large enough for her.


She took a step into the sink and felt her body slide down the sink. Before long, she was set in a long corridor, to which she followed, her footsteps echoing through the walls. Another door (though it looked more like a hatch) appeared not before long. Repeating the command she used at the sink, the door unlocked, and opened.


The Chamber itself had a greenish hue, and it was pretty empty. Water surrounded a platform, and the water looked old, but somehow fresh. Perhaps that was for investigating another time. Taking one last glance around the room, Millie began to retreat, heading back to the entrance, quite scared.


"It's true," She whispered. "I'm a Parseltongue."

Serenity is very logical, and barely thinks emotionally. She is very helpful when solving problems, and is certainly smart. After classes, she usually tutors younger students. While she is helpful, she can only solve problems practically. She's nice, but it's difficult for her to offer emotional support to people.
That being said, she has been known to be a good fighter. Not just in duels. She has practiced Jujitsu and Taekwondo for years. While she no longer actively is apart of any sports, fighting her would be dangerous.
During these moments when she isn't too kind, she is known to be blunt, brash, and even considered rude if she gets to that point. It doesn't happen often, and only when someone really pisses her off.

She has curly brown hair, Morena-colored skin, and dark brown eyes. Her height has been variable in the years, but she averages between 5'8-5'10ft (172.7-177.8cm). She is the second tallest person in her family, after her older brother, who's 6'3ft (190.5cm).
Her love for makeup has only grown during the years. She enjoys wearing bright colors, but can be seen wearing dark shades of purple when she wants to feel sophisticated. Her wardrobe consists mainly of shorts and shirts, with very few dresses. She feels self-conscious because of her height when she wears them.

On March 7th, 2005, Serenity Leigh Arellano was born. Her mother and father, Jane and Augustus Arellano were delighted to finally have a little girl. They weren't resentful to Serenity's three brothers, they just wanted a change. And what a change Serenity would be...
By the time she was four, she was interested in Martial Arts, and enjoyed a multitude of sports. Her twin older brothers, Jackson and Markus, were the meaning of chaotic. They spent all of their free time playing with Serenity and pranking everyone else in the family. She didn't exactly like pranking people, but she loved making her brothers happy.
Jay, the eldest sibling, was the calmest person in the family. He adored Serenity and spent all of his time with her. It wasn't a lot of time, since he had a job, school, and his girlfriend, but she understood and tried to be just like him. While most kids had their mother or father as their idol, Serenity loved Jay.
Three days after her seventh birthday, Serenity felt a pang of boredom. She saw a book her mother was reading, and suddenly wanted to read it to. To her surprise, it flew out of her mothers hands, and right in front of Serenity and began reading itself to the little girl. Shocked, and disgusted, her parents had no clue what to do.
A man in silly clothing came to her house the next day, and explained to the girl that she was a witch. He did the same thing to her mother and father, and then pointed his wand at them. Serenity didn't know what he did, but the next day, her parents began to mumble about an "active imagination". Things didn't feel the same afterward.
With her parents slowly disassociating themselves from Serenity, she ended up moving in with Jay and his girlfriend, Penelope. She was nine when she decided to go.
And then she turned eleven, and a lady showed up to take Serenity to get herself ready for the magical school "Ilvermorny". Serenity, like any child, was absolutely distraught at the idea of leaving her brother to go to a school. However, she understood that it was for the better, and went along with it.
Terrified when she realized that most people had magical families, she thought she would be the lowest in the class, and would eventually fail. She didn't know what was going to happen when she stepped up onto the plate. Four statues stood motionless around her. Suddenly, a crystal in the snake started glowing. Some students from above clapped, and she was sorted into Horned Serpent.
She was definitely one of the more quiet students during her first year, and she spent her time studying. Her grades were remarkable, and she suddenly began tutoring students for each class. She played pranks, and tutored students. Her silent first year came to a close very quickly.
She was offered a variety of different extra credits and trips during the summer, and accepted the majority of them. Of course, she left some time out to where she could go home and see Jay and Penelope for a little while.
Their minds had been altered, that she knew, but she still loved them anyway. Maybe, just one day, muggles and wizards could be reunited. But for now, she would just have to push through.
