History/Background Story:
Astoria Rosalie Middleton was born on March 2nd to pureblood wizard and with Matthias and Narcissa Middleton. Astoria lived in a wealthy neighborhood of London with her parents and her grandmother, Matilda Middleton.

Growing up, Astoria had attended a private primary school. Her parents believed that education was a necessity in order to achieve success and as diligent workers of the British Ministry of Magic, they had worked hard to ensure that Astoria would have a life of success. However, with that said, Astoria was put under a lot of pressure by her parents to ensure perfection. She loves her parents and her grandmother deeply, but with all the formal galas and dinner parties that the Middleton's would host at their manor, Astoria was taught at a young age to be lady like.

Throughout her childhood, Astoria learned the piano, harp and flute. She enjoyed playing the harp the most. She learned French as well since her mother's side of the family roots were in both England and France. Each summer, Astoria and her family would vacation at their home in Paris, traveling all over the country to visit relatives and spending holidays there.

Along with learning various musical instruments and learning a second language, Astoria became greatly interested in singing and had even performed in school functions from solo performances and ensembles. She enjoyed acting as well and found an interest in theatre. Her grandmother, Angelique Genevieve Beaumont, was a well-known French diva and was beloved for her singing and dancing talents until her tragic death. On Astoria's tenth birthday, she was gifted a ring that belonged to her late grandmother. It was an enchanting ring that Astoria immediately felt a strong connection with.

When Astoria had turned eleven years old, she had received her letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Astoria was thrilled to attend a new school and enter the wizarding world. She knew that there were going to be challenges ahead of her, but she was ready to rise to those challenges! Plus, this would give her an opportunity to break out of her shell and learn more about her throughout her years of education at the magical school.

Astoria's Appearance:
Astoria has a petite body build to her. She has snow white skin, rosy red cheeks and ruby lips. Her eyes a dark brown and she has long brown hair with slight caramel highlights that go past her shoulders. Astoria is known to be quite a small child, usually being towered over many other students about her age. Even though she is short, Astoria is also known to be very fast and agile.

Personal Possessions from Home
Astoria's Locket - This locket is made of the purest silver encrusted with three diamonds and one aquamarine stone. Inside the locket is a picture of Astoria's father, Matthias and her mother, Narcissa. Astoria was given this locket the night before leaving Hogwarts as a present from her parents. She was told as long as she wore it, her parents were with her everywhere.

Grandmama's Ring - Since Astoria had no aunts, uncles or cousins, many of her grandparents possessions were passed down to her by her parents. After her grandmother, Odette Beaumont, had passed away, Astoria's mother Narcissa gave her this ring. Astoria was never told anything more about this ring other than it was her grandmother's. Even her mother didn't know what purpose it was for. A wedding ring? Promise Ring? Could it be enchanted even with french magic? She may never know...

Fairytale Books - While coming to Hogwarts, Astoria was not about to leave behind her favorite fairytale books. While many of people may believe she was too old for them, she kept them close to her heart at all times. No matter where Astoria went in Hogwarts, she always had a book of collected stories with her. Her favorite stories are Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel, Sweetheart Roland, The Little Mermaid and a few more. She also loves teaching others about the importance of fairytales as well.

Astoria's Lyre - To continue practicing her instruments, Astoria was gifted a lyre by her grandmother, Matilda Middleton. The lyre was custom made for Astoria and has her name engraved somewhere secretly hidden on the lyre. Astoria keeps this close to her bed, for when she can't sleep at night, she plays a tune that allows her to fall asleep. She can also be seen around Hogwarts playing this.

Astoria's Flute - Learning the flute a few years ago, Astoria brought this instrument to Hogwarts so that she may have it if she ever performed in a symphony. She is known to play many up beat jigs that is in absolute perfect tune. She prefers the harp and piano over the flute, but she enjoys it more when playing in an ensemble instead of a solo performance.

Astoria's Black Ribbon - Astoria received this piece of black ribbon when she was working with her mother on an arts and crafts project. She watched her mother put her hair in a ponytail with the use of a black ribbon to help keep it out of her eyes when she was doing something productive and was very focused. Astoria picked up on this as well and whenever she focuses on something, she pulls this out and uses it to put her hair up. This black ribbon is also gifted to a friend of hers that she finds very close to her. The black ribbon always finds a way back to her, but she also gives it to this friend of hers as a message of friendship and always being there for them.
