History Reducio The Stewarts are a very small, and now even smaller muggle family that have stayed in the highlands of Scotland for as long as anybody can remember, they have a long history with alcoholism, which lead to the death of David Stewart 4 years before Delilah was born. The family name is dying out quite quickly as it was a small family in the first place, and as Delilah has no brothers to carry on the family name. The Stewarts are known for their stubbornness, especially old Granny Caitlin, despite the fact she married into the family. She was born in the village and she is very determined that she will spend the rest of her days there too, she wouldn't move from that village no matter what. The Stewarts don't have a long history, nor do they have a very interesting one, they are a list of people where next to nobody had more than 1 sibling, it was said that they did this to teach children to cherish their siblings because they are the only one that they have. The history of the Stewarts is not a particularly happy one, many of them didn't live past the age of 40 due to alcoholism or just misfortune. Caitlin is considered quite lucky in the village, there weren't many people who lived in the village, maybe 50 if you round up, but the Stewarts have been there since it began. The Stewarts are intensely patriotic of Scotland, as most highland-based families are, to the point that if Caitlin catches Delilah talking without using the Scottish dialect, she will get yelled at for speaking like she was English, not Scottish.	History Reducio The Wilsons are an English muggle family, rather big in comparison to the Stewarts, they have history from all over the place, there are American roots, Italian roots, French roots and quite a few others. Until Karen and Aidan settled they were travellers. Delilah doesn't know if any of her family from that side are alive or not because her mother cut off all contact with them when she moved up to Scotland in 1999 for reasons unknown. They were quite a serious family, disapproving of most things fun or entertaining. Their idea of fun is spending money, they were quite a rich family that lived in a mansion around the area of Rochdale that was inherited from generation to generation to the oldest boy of the family to carry on the Wilson name.

1.Alasdair Stewart, Alasdair was Delilah's Dad, a muggle who unfortunately died in a car crash when the Ravenclaw was 2, obviously she wasn't a Ravenclaw at the time. Alasdair looks quite similar to Delilah and her Granny always told her how much she reminded her of him. Alasdair had a brother, Iain, but Delilah never met him, he died before she was born.
2.Meghan Stewart, Meghan was Delilah's Mam, she was also a muggle and also died in that car accident in 2008. According to her Granny, she wasn't nearly as close to her mother as she was to her father. Meghan had 3 siblings, 2 brothers and a sister specifically, but nobody has any contact with her family as she cut off all contact when she moved to Scotland in 1999, her family don't even know that she got married or that Delilah was ever born.
3.Caitlin Stewart, the sole survivor (other than Del herself) to carry the Stewart name. Caitlin raised Delilah and taught her quite a lot, although she has some...strange lessons. Caitlin is a sweet woman, despite her strange and mildly violent lessons, and she is Delilahs best friend.

Personality

Delilah is quite a maternal person, often finding herself looking after the younger students that she knows, especially within duelling. Sometimes caring too much about people around her. She can almost always be found in the duelling room or the library, studying practical or theoretical elements of her classes. Despite being a good duellist Delilah actually finds it more difficult to cast spells than other students her age, finding herself working double as hard to cast the same spells as everybody else.

History

Growing up in a tiny village right in the highlands of Scotland can be quite lonely. Delilah Stewart, born Christmas eve 2005, certainly knew that. The village she lives in to this day has roughly 50 people living in it, for the first few years of her life, she had a very loving, yet small family, living with her parents, Alastair and Meghan, and her Granny Caitlin. Unfortunately, that family got even smaller in 2008, when a car accident ended the lives of her parents. From then on, it was the dream team, Caitlin and Delilah. Or so Del thought until she was a teenager and realised her Grannys protective gaze on her ended up causing a lot of her self esteem issues.

Being a kid in a tiny location, her primary school literally being 7 kids aged 4-11 and the librarian was also the teacher, most of them got along pretty well, but she never truly had friends, just these kids she knew. She knew the teacher/librarian better than she did any of the kids her age. There was this one boy though, who seemed to have a hatred for her ever since they met, they were the same age, expected to get along because they were the only kids in the village that were the same age, however that didn't happen. Up until her moving to hogwarts, he made her life hell. Which moves onto how her first instance of magic showed up. He was following her home, the short distance, but to get to Delilahs house, there is a small alleyway that cuts between two houses, in that alleyway, this boy decided he had had enough of her. They were about 9 years old or so.

Her granny had taught her very basic self defence techniques, just very very basic stuff just in case. So when he started yelling at her, calling her all of these awful names, she blanked out, her mind flicking through the things she knew to try and find out what to do. Delilah was very short, so he will always have had the upper hand. When it kicked off though, was when he pushed her back by her shoulders because she wasn't listening to him. In an instant flame of utter rage, she gave him a hard shove in the chest, however, that wasn't all that happened, as that wouldn't have been particularly effective, he ended up flying backwards into the wall of the house opposite. It wasn't a big enough burst of magic to be unbelievable for a muggle to see, however she certainly wasn't capable of that on a normal day.

Come 2019, Caitlin's health was declining, by the beginning of 2020 she was restricted to a wheelchair, however she, being the most stubborn woman on planet earth, refused to see a doctor past the nurse that lived in the village, the one who got her the wheelchair in the first place. Thankfully, despite her lacking ability to stand for long periods of time, she was still able to get around without too much help, and when she did need help, she had her best friend just next door to help her while Delilah was away at hogwarts.
