Brief Character Description







Pre-Hogwarts History

The Blackburn family were a pure-bloodline of witches and wizards of Hufflepuffs. A family that were from middle-class, and known to be kind hearted, though smart and well skilled under potions. They were a bloodline that followed the traditional values and views among the wizarding world. Those who strongly believed Muggles and Pure-bloods should not interact with each other, and were disgusted with Half-bloods and Muggle-borns.

Charles Blackburn was the eldest of three brothers. A member of the Hufflepuff House, a Prefect and a skilled student in potions and Qudditch. Shortly after graduating from Hogwarts and participating in the second wizarding war, Charles and his close friends decided to take a trip to the Muggle-born to celebrate their graduation.

They arrived to a small town in the United Kingdom; Salisbury. A town in which Charles described to be peaceful with welcoming faces, and made him feel as if all of his worries suddenly vanished. Charles and his friends split up to explore the town by themselves, and made his way to the nearby bookstore. It was there he met Marie Fitzgerald, a woman who worked at the book shop.

During the week Charles was in town, the two managed to hit it off. When it was time for him to leave, he had grown madly in love with the Muggle and decided to reside in Salisbury to spend the rest of his life with Marie. But Charles' family was furious when they heard the news that their son was marrying a Muggle - Even more furious when they announced they were expecting.

The Blackburn family threatened to cut all ties with Charles if he continued seeing Marie and their future offspring. At this time, Marie knew about her husband being a wizard, and feared being caught in the middle between him and his family. But, Charles remained seeing Marie and did not speak to his family for several years until reconnecting when Jules was four years old.

When Jules was born, Marie and Charles were thrilled, and both had hoped that their daughter would one day be a witch. It wasn't until Jules was seven years old as her and her best friend, Zoey were fooling around with her father's wand. Where Jules accidentally turned Zoey into a ferret. That's when both Marie and Charles knew their daughter had her father's wizard genetics.
