Caitlin is a happy, cheerful girl, who can be stubborn at times and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She can be more of a listener than a talker at times, preferring to listen to what others have to say before responding. But when she's genuinely curious, she tends to show a more talkative side, wanting to know as much as she can about something. She's also known to be intelligent, independent, and audacious. She's loyal to her friends and family and cares deeply about those closest to her, hating to see them upset or hurt. While she prefers not to show it, Caitlin does posses some insecurities regarding herself, and her capabilities and anyone who truly gets to know her can see that, even if she doesn't want them to.


Caitlin comes in at an average height of 144 cm (4′8) and 36.9 kg (81.5 lb). She has light skin with long blonde hair that hangs over her left shoulder, blue eyes, and is known to have a bright, warm smile. Like her father, she has her birthmark on her right shoulder.


Pre-Hogwarts
Caitlin Brightcrest was born on April 5th, 2007 in Dublin, Ireland to Briana and Connor Brightcrest. Her mother, Briana was a half-blood witch who comes from Dublin and currently works as a Herbologist, and her father Connor was a muggle-born wizard from Cork who works as a Mediwizard.Born into a small but close family, Caitlin grew up an only child but considered her older cousin like a brother to her. Her parents wanted her to grow up knowing what kindness truly was and to learn to appreciate the beauty of life and so, they raised her in such a way.
Caitlin was always very curious as a young child, she wanted to learn about whatever she possibly could. To investigate how everything worked, from start to finish; she would always ask her parents and endless amount of questions because of this. She also tended to be adventurous, exploring where ever she was allowed to and dreaming about the day she could see the world. Caitlin's parents allowed her to attend muggle school before coming to Hogwarts, her father wanted her to know more about her muggle heritage. There, some students thought of her to be somewhat weird because of her curiosity, she wasn't use to being in the muggle world so much. That being said she was also able to make a few friends there, two girls from her classes that lived not too far from the school. She would always spend the summers off with them, going to movies or sleeping over at one of their houses. So when Caitlin had gotten her letter to Hogwarts one day she was sadden. Sad, that she would no longer be attending the same school as her friends.

Connor Brightcrest is Caitlin's father. A muggleborn Wizard from Cork, his family runs a small local shop there while he decided to become a Mediwizard, citing he's always wanted to be a doctor growing up, instead of following in the family footsteps of running the shop.

Briana Brightcrest
Briana Brightcrest is Caitlin's mother. Briana, a half-blood witch from Dublin, became a Gryffindor just like her father, the two were once rivals in their school days before falling for each other. Much like her mother, Briana had a knack for Herbology and great love of plants, and so she became a Herbologist

Gregory Brightcrest
Gregory Brightcrest is Caitlin's older cousin and is currently a 4th year Gryffindor at Hogwarts.
