Rosalyn has snow-white hair that reaches down to mid-thigh level. Her hair is usually a little messy as well. Many people are at first shocked to see the color of her hair. Rosalyn's snow-white hair is a direct comparison to the empty void that makes up her personality.

Rosalyn has smooth pale skin. As a child, some kids use to joke around and say her skin was as blinding as the sun.

Rosalyn has bright red eyes. The red eyes represent the pent-up emotions that build up inside Rosalyn. Whenever she gets overly excited, sad, curious, and etc, her eyes will begin to get slightly brighter. She gets her red eyes from her mother who is a pure-blooded wizard.

Rosalyn has slightly upturned eyes, with long black lashes. She has average sized eyebrows which are drawn into a frown. Her teeth are straight and are blinding white. She walks with perfect posture and generally sits perfectly straight in her chair.

When outsude of school, Rosalyn tends to wear a variety of clothing. However most of her outfits tend to have short-skirts and shorts. She wears most of her clothes in a messy style, not buttoning up shirts entirely or having clothes hanging off her shoulder is common. She'll occasionally wear a black stretchy tattoo choker as well. Rosalyn also has a single magical red-ruby earring in her left ear that will always make it's way to Rosalyn even when lost.

Rosalyn is shy and has trouble understanding the use of language such as sarcasm. She lacks common sense and takes things quite literally. She is generally quiet unless spoken too, and generally shows the utmost respect to everyone. By definition, Rosalyn is what most would be called "apathetic." Rosalyn can also be clingy to those she enjoys being around but it is rare that anyone is close enough with her to witness this. While her shyness does hold her back sometimes when Rosalyn has her mind set on a goal she will stop at nothing to achieve it.

Reading: Rosalyn enjoys learning new things. She prefers top obtain knowledge through books since she can read through them quickly, and still retain all information she reads.
Nature: Rosalyn seems to enjoy everything in nature. This includes animals, plants, celestial objects, and etc. The fact that life can grow continuously even with death is majestic to her.
Drawing: Although Rosalyn has an eidetic memory, she doesn't really remember the feelings she felt. Due to this, she draws whatever she finds that seems interesting so she can remember the sensations she felt when looking at the drawing.
Music: She generally only likes music to drown out other sounds. Lo-fi hip hop helps her focus on her homework.
Philosophy: Since Rosalyn sees thing too literally and rationally, she has a hard time understanding philosophy. This is why she likes philosophy because she enjoys the challenge of trying to understand it.
Logic and Rational Thinking: Rosalyn thinks in a logical and rational manner. For she believes it is the best way to think, however she seems to take it to steps too far.
Clothing: While Rosalyn herself isn't too stylish, she enjoys seeing people who are. This mostly stems from her enjoyment of seeing things that are beautiful and interesting.

Large Crowds: She mostly just hates being around a lot of people. She enjoys being in secluded areas where it can be peaceful.
Peanuts: While she doesn't necessarily dislike peanuts, due to her allergies she has to avoid them.
Liars: Rosalyn despises those who are not honest. She personally sees no reason for someone to ever tell a lie and believes those who do lie are scum.
Bullies: She doesn't hate bullies as much as she uses to since she was accustomed to being bullied as a child. However, she can't stand watching other people get bullied.
Attention: This correlates with her disliking of big crowds. She hates having multiple people stare at her because it makes her nervous. It's common for people to stare however due to her red eyes and pure white hair.

Rosalyn Mairead was born December 27th,2007, in London, England to a pure-blooded witch named Avelyn Mairead, maiden name Thorant, and a muggle man named Felix Mairead. Growing up, Rosalyn's father wasn't around much because he was a professor at Oxford University. She mostly grew up with her mother, who had given up her job in the ministry to raise her child.

At 5 years old, Rosalyn was diagnosed with an Eidetic Memory which is somewhat common in children, but it was much more advanced than usual. She could remember everything, even down to the smallest of details. However, this skill came with a major drawback. Rosalyn would forever be thinking about past memories, but she managed to somewhat escape this double-edged sword. Instead of constantly reminiscing in the past, she would have random surges of all of her memories once a day. Her so-called "perfect memory" most likely came from her father, who had a photographic memory.

At six, she met her father for the first time. At first, she was nervous, but she warmed up to him. He had a calming sensation to him. He visited so they could move to Oxford, this way, he could visit more frequently. Rosalyn didn't really mind moving, for she had no emotional connection to her home. Her parents seemed to notice her lack of emotion but thought of it nothing of significance.

The day they finally moved to Oxford, was Rosalyn's first day of school. Many of the students were shocked to see a girl with white hair and fiery red eyes. They were all attracted to her, like a moth to a lamp. Rosalyn was shy, she never experienced so much attention before. Thus, she would always try and hide herself away from the other children. Eventually, the other kids noticed how plain her personality was as well, and it scared them. Her monotone voice and fierce stare would ward off any of those wanting to befriend her. She was lonely. Her parents decided to visit a therapist to learn about her strange behavior. They never got a clear answer, but they believed it had to do with her eidetic memory.

Due to her lack of friends, Rosalyn would spend most of her time after-school in her home. There was a large library in their home full of books that her father would bring home. She spent her time reading through all the books until she read all of them. Her mother, noticing Rosalyn had taken an interest in something, decided to buy as many books as possible. From reading through the many books, Rosalyn managed to move up from a 6-year-old level of education to a college student. She would even teach herself skills she would read in books as well. These skills arranged from cooking, pickpocketing, and even martial arts. Her mother was scared of the vast knowledge Rosalyn possessed, but her father believed it would turn out to be what makes her special. She eventually was pulled out of school since her parents saw how pointless it was for her.

At 9-years-old Rosalyn stumbled upon her mother's wand. When she picked it up, it glowed slightly and shocked her. She was scared at first but was curious to learn more about it. She didn't know what the strange item was, she had never been exposed to magic before. When she went to ask her mother, she was met with a face of displeasure. Her parents have been trying to hide the world of wizards and witches away from Rosalyn. They mostly feared this due to her lack of emotion and her ability to learn so easily. They thought she would become a catalyst for evil. Thus, her mother decided to teach her everything she knew, hoping it would put an end to Rosalyn's curiosity. Rosalyn was told about Hogwarts, and her mother's past. How she was banished from her pure-blooded family due to her decision to marry a muggle man. All of this information only managed to make Rosalyn even more curious, so her parents decided to lock her in her room.

It pained them to lock their daughter away, but they believed that it was for the best. Their biggest worry was that someone would use Rosalyn for their own purposes. They wanted to protect her from this. Rosalyn would beg and beg for two years to go to Hogwarts. Her parents would never waver, until one day, she started to cry. It was the second time she had ever cried, the first was when she was born. Her parents were moved by how serious Rosalyn was. On her 11th birthday, they released her from her room. They decided that they could never change her mind. Before sending her off to London in order to board the train, Rosalyn's mother handed her a single red ruby earring. Telling her "This earring has been passed down in my family for more than 10 generations. No matter how far away you are from the earring, it will always make it's way to you." Rosalyn had her first taste of happiness, and she believed Hogwarts would show her more. She gave her last goodbyes and returned to London. There, she made her way to Platform 9 3/4 and onto the Hogwarts Express.
