In the 1998-1999 school year, Aubrey Mila Beckett met Max W. Addington in their first year of Hogwarts. The sporty Aubrey was rushing to the Hufflepuff quidditch practice (she was super talented) when she slammed into an ambitious Slytherin named Max, who was carrying a gigantic stack of spellbooks. Distraught, Max began picking up his books and didn’t notice Aubrey helping him until she asked him if he was ok. He was speechless when he saw that all of his books were in a neat pile as no one, besides his older brother, bothered to help him. When he finally reverted back to reality, Aubrey had disappeared. Due to his very busy schedule, he didn’t see her again until his fourth year. It was Aubrey who found him, asking him to tutor her as he became well-known for his exceptional grades. They grew closer as they discovered they shared the same values and a few of the same interests. Although Aubrey’s parents didn’t approve due to their young age, Max and Aubrey got married in January 21, 2006 and they moved to America. Max was accepted into MACUSA and Aubrey became an Auror. 

When Tina R. Addington was born, she caused everything in the hospital room to float. The doctors had to put her to sleep before everything could fall back down. This didn’t surprise her parent since Addingtons had a long history of being extremely gifted. What did surprise her parents were her gold doe eyes, the little bright red hair poking out of her head, and her pale skin. Her mother’s side of the family all had brown hair, black eyes, and tan skin. Her father’s side of the family all had black hair, green eyes, and brown skin. As a baby, she  was very quiet and only cried when she was hungry or had to be changed. As she grew a little older, she would read spellbooks with her father while her mother took her to every quidditch game in the area and taught her the basics of flying a broom.  In the summer, they visited different locations of the muggle world to visit friends. Tina picked up Spanish, French, Mandarin (Chinese), Russian, English, and a little Arabic.

When she was 3, she met her grandparents for the first time. They were seeking forgiveness and hoping to make amends with their daughter and her husband. Although Aubrey forgave them immediately, it took a while for Max to forgive them. They began visiting every month, but only stayed for a day. Upon her grandparents request, she began taking dancing and acting classes. They believed it was important for her to be acquainted with the arts for some psychological reason.

When she was 4, she met Uncle Jaymes, a traveler. He was her father’s older brother who took care of him ever since his parents died from a street duel accident. He stayed with them for a year teaching Tina a little bit of guitar and encouraging her to sing. Tina was devastated when he had to go to Australia, but he left her an Addington album to remember him by.

When she was 5, a women came by claiming to be her father’s sister. Tina recognized her from the album and showed her father a younger picture of the women. Her name was Zennie. She explained that her parents put her up for adoption, because she was a squib. She visited their home every 6 months and taught Tina to cook, bake, and prepare both muggle and wizard meals. She had a muggle husband and a half-blood son who attended a private boarding muggle school and was about Tina’s age. However, Tina never met them, but her aunt insisted that they move to Europe so Tina could attend Hogwarts with her son and meet her family.

At age 6, they moved from a small cottage in the American woods to a large mansion in the outskirts of town. They lived in isolation due to fear of another evil being coming into power, and it resulted with Tina never having any human friends. Tina noticed how they stopped complaining about money since they made the move. Unfortunately, they were always busy and only had time for Tina on Sundays. At  first, Tina would explore the mansion discovering secret passages and reading the books in the library. When she got bored, she wandered into a nearby forest and befriended the animals. They showed her around the forest and she talked to them, pretending they could talk back. She could never understand what they were saying, but she always understood what they meant. One time an animal poacher tried to capture her animal friends. Her six year old self was so angry and upset that she released a bright red light that blinded the poacher forever. Her parents had to get the Ministry of Magic to replace the poacher's memory. She felt bad for the poacher, but didn't regret the action she took to protect her friends. This event led to her having constant headaches and nightmares.

When she was 7, her parents decided to distract her by making her join multiple sports and art classes. While she excelled in the sports like competitive swimming, cheerleading, football, and archery, she was only mediocre in art. Her lack of art talent frustrated her at first but she started to admire its complexity and drew something abstract everyday. Luckily, she stopped having headaches and nightmares.

When she was 8, attended muggle school as a year 3 in junior school. She was doing very well, but she only lasted a week. Everyone thought she was weird and always commented on her eccentric behaviors, like staring at the wall or eating strange looking food. At one point, a girl insulted her and she almost exposed her powers. Thankfully, she ran out of the school instead and never returned. To cheer her up, her mother taught her to skateboard and her father taught her how to ice skate.

When she was 9, her grandparents bought her a gobstones set and wizard’s chess set for Christmas. When her parents were available, she would beat her mother at wizard’s chess but kept getting stalemate when she was up against her father. She made up for it by demolishing her father in gobstones, but she never managed to defeat her mother. She also began to write more, creating  notebooks of random short stories that she hung on her shelf.


When she was 10, she accidentally entered a portkey and landed on a stage during a live concert. The singer gave her a mic and she sang along even though she only knew the chorus. When the song was over, the singer said she had an amazing voice with a spectacular range.

When she turned 11, she didn’t receive a letter because she missed the cutoff. Despite this, her parents told her about their experiences at Hogwarts. She loved everything about the school, but she believed the division of people into houses was a restriction and wasn't looking forward to being sorted. When she finally received her Hogwarts letter sometime before her birthday, she was excited to start learning more at school, but anxious to meet new and different people. Her main concern was whether she could make friends or interact with people in general.
