History

Violet came to this world during a silenced by snow night of Christmas Eve to Eveleen and Ricard Evreux. Evreux family has a long history of close ties with Old British wizarding families, one from which is Violet's mother, Eveleen. Evreuxes have always kept to themselves, not mingling into other people's affairs, and therefore did not get involved in any of the Wizarding Wars.

Born into an old French wizarding family, Violet grew up surrounded by wizards and witches from all around the world, and therefore ever since she could remember she has been taught various languages to be able to communicate well with the foreign guests. Ricard's mother and Violet's grandmother, Blanche was the one to teach young Violet all that a noble lady should know, from a proper etiquette, to small magical tricks patented by herself. Unlike many upper-class families, Violet's parents have spent as much time with their only daughter as their busy schedules have only allowed to. During the times when both of them were occupied, Violet always made her escape into the enormous family library, burying herself in various stories, reading everything that caught her eye, whether it be a muggle novel or an old Hogwarts' textbook.

The Evreus family, although with deep historical roots of French origin, has always sent their young ones into Hogwarts, as opposed to Beauxbatons Academy, keeping their close ties with the United Kingdom and assuring a multicultural experience for the family heirs. The family moved from their mansion in France to London's suburban area when Violet was 9, as they decided it to be the most reasonable solution so their daughter would not be required to travel a great distance after she began her education in Hogwarts.

Violet's imagination and thirst for knowledge grew together with her. She always took her, at the time, favourite book everywhere she went and she could often be found outside in the gardens, reading. Because of the rather close circle of family she has been brought up in, Violet is a shy but curious child, preferring to play by herself or with animals rather than with other children. She usually finds it hard to create any deeper friendships and even though she is rather open when people ask her questions, she always distances herself from others. She is a very proper young girl with good manners and often puts others needs first, however she can also be very blunt and cold when dealing with those who she finds mistrustful or two-faced. Her favourite time of the year is winter and especially Christmas, for which they always travel to the old family, on maternal side, house in Scotland, where they spend it with all the closest relatives.
