History/Background Story: Aeri tends to be shy at first, but she opens up once she gets to know someone. She is more intelligent than she seems mostly due to her clumsiness. When she puts her mind to something, she practically do anything because she is a hard worker.
Aeri's hair is dark brown with a tint of orange because of her parents. She's half-Korean, half-Irish and a half-blood. Her mother came from South Korea and went to Ireland on vacation where she met Aeri's father. Her father revealed himself to be a wizard once the two had fallen in love, but that didn't change Aeri's mother's mind.
The three of them continued to live in Ireland, but her mother decided to teach her Korean, while her father taught her English so Aeri would be fluent in both languages. Their lives together in Ireland were pretty normal for the most part until Aeri started showing strange signs. Some bully at school teased her about being different when they happened to run into each other in the bathroom and the mirrors cracked when Aeri became upset. One of these mirrors broke and ended up cutting the bully, who blamed Aeri for it. Aeri was sent home and her father told her about the wizarding world. The next day, she recieved a letter in the mail about a wizarding school called Hogwarts so her parents took her to Diagon Alley to buy her supplies.
Time went by and it was time for Aeri to say goodbye to her parents as they hugged each other at Platform 9 3/4. She got onto the Hogwarts Express and found an empty cabin before putting her things away. Aeri took out ”Hogwarts, A History” out from her bag and started to read it. Her head popped up when some girl opened the door and asked if she could join her. Aeri smiled shyly and nodded quietly before the girl introduced herself as Rika. Noticing that her name sounded foreign, she asked Rika about her nationality and two bonded over having a parent from an Asian country before talking about Hogwarts. Upon arriving at Hogwarts, Aeri decided to stick with Rika since she didn't know anyone else. When they walked into the Great Hall, Aeri was in awe of how truly great it was, before becoming nervous when it was time for the Sorting Ceremony. When her name was called, she sat down and the Sorting Hat was placed on her head before he announced that she would be put in Slytherin. Aeri smiled and then went to join the Slytherin table as the Ceremony continued.
