To make a long explanation short, Mina is a firey, outgoing person hidden underneath years of built-up anxiety from the constant bullying of her muggle peers. She has a skill with taking care of plants, animals and doing art-related things (and being sporty but don't tell anyone that, she's insecure about it.) and, usually, she goes to those few things whenever she feels more lonely than usual. In previous relationships, she tends to grow close to a person fairly quickly and thus grows loyal rather quickly - and while she may not grow as close to people as quickly as she did in the past, it's still a bad habit. The aforementioned flaw led her to many bad situations before, but with each situation, she remained truly loyal no matter how the other person hurt her.

๑’,~Mina is a quiet, sometimes reserved and on occasion, a firey person. Her quietness and antsy-ness probably derived from her earlier days when she was in muggle school, the topic of such being an iffy one for her. Making friends and socializing is still difficult, but on good days she can be more talkative than usual (so instead of glaring at you and looking really sleepy, she'll utter a simple: "Hi").

๑’,~She likes to believe she's independent and great alone, curing her terminal loneliness with nice, long books, tending to her plants, or playing 'sports' with herself in a quiet courtyard, or even drawing underneath the shade of a tree. But, in truth, she misses her sister dearly and she longs for a lasting relationship with anyone.

๑’,~In friendships, Mina has a tendency of growing close too quickly or being too clingy at times. But because of this, she's very loyal even though previous friendships always ended quickly.

๑’,~Her usual, unblinking indignant appearance fends off most potential friends and would add on to the list of things to poke fun... if she didn't have the skill to push away her anxieties to fend for herself and others. Chin-length brown hair, tousled and frizzy hangs over her round face. Slanted, dark brown eyes that shine like honey in the sun lay settled, oft, above purplish eyebags. Two moles bespeckle her features, one under her right eye and another under her lip; aside from that, her face is smooth, clear and tanned in the summer. A great deal of the time, Mina sports an odd look between zoned out and slight displeasure, which may or may not be a cause for the lack of friends.

Usually, she's seen with graphite all over her hands (sometimes her face) with small cuts adorning her fingers; due to slipping up when trimming her beloved plants, papercuts, or a result of stumbling with her knife while carving. She sometimes sports the occasional bruise or scab from roughly playing a sport or because of sheer clumsiness.

Her uniform regularly takes the appearance of looking 'thrown on' with her tie barely hanging off her shirt, her socks unmatched or put on at different lengths, and her robes scarcely making it onto her shoulders. Which, for the most part, is due to long nights tossing and turning in her bed, because of extended periods of drawing and reading before sleep (or cramming because she procrastinated her studies.)

Ha-Jun has always protected both his daughters like a hawk. Releasing Mina into the wizarding world, and learning of her wizarding ways was hard for him. But he pushed that fear of losing Mina back, and let his youngest daughter go. Mina loves her father dearly even if she thinks he could be a bit much at times and like to her mother, she never really opened to him. Which worries him from time to time but he gives her space, and offers that he'd always be there no matter what. She respects him because of the aforementioned and of how easily he sacrifices for the ones he loves.

Mina and her mother, Ji-Yu have never been really close, but close enough. Ji-Yu was always there for her, even if Mina wouldn't say what was bothering her. And though she's blunt about most things, and can be a bit cold, Ji-Yu, away from people, just like her daughter, breaks down easily and constantly wonders if the problem is her. She's been through plenty of rough patches because of this, and might've relied too heavily on the bottom of her bottle ... but was picked up by none other than Mina who never failed to show her love towards her mother with her art pieces and occasional hugs and 'thank yous'. Her mother's honesty and unafraid to not answer the honest is something Mina has always loved about her mother even if other people had found it bothersome in the past, and because of this fact, she always asks for her opinion on her art and other things of the like.

Mina and Min-Jeong have as best a relationship as the two can have. Mina considers Min-Jeong as the bestest friend she has and is one of the only people she trusts to spill her worries towards. The same goes for Min-Jeong, who even if she fit in easier, (and defended her sister when she had too,) was still quite lonely and leaned into her sister for moral support.

A cat Mina bought along with Wobble-wing, the pair actually seems to get along well despite the difference in species. Doggie is a seal point, with wispy long fur and a tendency to act more like a dog rather than a cat. She follows Mina around all day and curls at the end of her bed, assuring she isn't as lonely as she thinks she is.

Wobble-wing is Mina's pet owl that she bought in order to send letters and packages to her family. He received his name for not being the greatest of flyers, as Mina chose him more out of sentiment than anything else. He gets the job done, anyway and Mina loves him dearly.

Mina Han came from a rather ordinary muggle family, originating from Jinhae-gu South Korea. Only moving to London England for her parents' job. She was aged seven and her sister nine when they were thrust into the new environment, and though she was familiar with English due to her father's fluency in it, she wasn't great at the 'speaking' part. This caused both her and her sister problems in school. To Mina, it was, perhaps, even tenfold worse due to her magical occurrences.

Ever since she was a baby, odd events would follow her. Scratches and bruises from rough-housing the day before would be gone in the morning, objects too high on the shelf would appear right before her, toys that would have hit her straight in the face would turn right before the aforementioned, and other small things of the like.

Her family would simply shrug off the odd occurrences as sleepiness or forgetfulness, or, even, just pure chance. After all, to them, magic was just imagination and certainly, their daughter could not be as such.

However, her family could not turn a blind eye towards Mina's less-than-ordinary abilities for long. A year into their move, was the year her life took a complete flip. What at first seemed like a playful nudge from her older sister as she sleepily walked down the stairs quickly turned into a harsh tumble. One that would've quickly led to death; but before she could hit the ground with an earsplitting 'crack'... she began to hover in mid-air. (Before quickly being met with the ground due to her overwhelming surprise moments after.) Despite her sister leading to her almost-death they were close and always have been. Even after her showcase of obvious magic, her elder sister paid more attention to her state of health, ushering her shocked father over to her body before bursting into tears.

Not long afterwards, a staff from Hogwarts confronted her family and informed them on the wizarding world and the school she'd attend in a few years. Her family, though greatly shocked at the new information, were happy that Mina could finally find her place somewhere. Their easy acceptance of Mina's magical abilities finally gave her some peace when it came to her feeling different, so much so the young girl was in tears.
