Backstory: Born to a British muggle father and Filipino witch mother, 11-year old Jena is ecstatic to begin her first year of studies at Hogwarts, especially after growing up on the tales of great witches and wizards. She has tawny-colored skin, dark hair often tied up into double buns, and green-blue eyes.

Jena is earnest, hardworking, and never afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve and voice her opinion in unfair situations. She does her best to be friendly to everyone around her, and she has a small group of close friends that she’s fiercely loyal to. Although not a perfectionist, she always puts forth the best effort she can, especially towards things she finds relevant, though she may self-criticize when something doesn’t turn out the way she wants. She’s always motivated to work towards her goals and uses all her resources she can to do so, but would never take advantage of others for personal gain.

Growing up in Bath, England, one of her favorite pastimes is relaxing in the spas. As a child, her mother always regaled her with stories of wizards and magic, as if from a fairytale. When she was 5 years old, she discovered her innate magical abilities when she wanted to play with a figurine on top of the bookshelf and was surprised to have it fly to the ground near her. Her mother, who was walking into the room when it happened, was stunned momentarily before cheering and spinning her daughter, too elated to worry about the broken figurine on the ground. From that day on, Jena learned that magic was more than just a fairytale.
