Lars was born to the wealthy Anderson family with a muggle father and a witch mother -- who also attended Hogwarts and sorted into Hufflepuff house. Lars' mother, however, died when Lars was still young and never once showed her magical skill to the young boy, making him oblivious to the world of magic. It turned out she was hiding the ability because his husband showed some dislike to the world of magic thinking it was an embarrassment to his high status in society. Loving his husband and son so much, she never once used her wand again. She died from a untreated dragon pox when Lars was five years old.

Lars' father was a strict man. Being a businessman, he wanted Lars to follow his path, pushing him to study hard, not allowing him to play with children around his age because he thought it was a waste of time, so in the future he could continue him running the business. Lars, however, didn't find the situation interesting for him, making him a rebel kid to his father.

When Lars was 8 years old, his father got married again to a kind young woman where Lars finally found a mother figure again on her, eventually grew very close to her and relied on her in many situations as she was the one who always remind his father if Lars was still a child and need more time to socialize with other kids his age. Thanks to her, Lars finally managed to get some trustworthy friends (muggle).

Lars magical ability showed up late, only after he was 10 years old when he accidentally break all the windows in the house when he was debating with his father. Lars' father went even stricter to him, afraid other people might notice the oddity in his son.

When Lars' letter arrived, his father objected him going to the school because he wanted the son to attend the private school he had him enrolled. Lars, knowing his passed mother to be a witch as his father accidentally slipped the information, went full force on fighting him, and with the help of his stepmother, he finally allowed to go even though the relationship between the father and the son just getting worse since then.

Overall Appearance: Lars appearance, to his dislike, resembles his father a lot, from face shape, nose, lips and hair color. The only resemblances he got from his late mother is only the eyes, where he got light brown color and small eyes which oftentimes closed when he smiles. Despite the strong feature he got from his father, Lars got his mom soft-looking expression which kind of make him look scary when he's angry but pleasing when he smiles.
