History/Background Story:

Miranda Krause is the fifth child of Edward Krause IV and Miranda Krause III. Her father works with the Ministry of Magic and her mother is a Head Curse-Breaker. She has six siblings in her household: Vincent, Susan, Hampton, Peter, Douglas, and Margaret. The eldest are either finishing at Hogwarts or already have graduated, and they're Vincent, who's twenty-six and an expert arithmancer, Susan, who's twenty-one and an obliviator, Hampton who's eighteen and an intermediate dragonologist, and Peter, who's a sixth year Slytherin at Hogwarts. The youngest are Douglas and Margaret, who're nine and seven. Everyone in her family is a ginger, with bright red hair, freckles, and ambitious demeanors.

Miranda's parents didn't worry too much about what their children did, as long as it was honorable and if they worked hard to be the best in whatever they were interested in. They push their children to surpass their peers and become the one everyone looks up too. They aren't evil or mean, but they'll do almost anything to get to where they need to be, which made the Krauses into the family renown for their cleverness and ambition. They don't like being stood up or thought of as insignificant so they're careful about how they play their cards.

Before Hogwarts Miranda lived with her parents in their private estate in Salisbury, England. Their home is a small mansion surrounded by forest and kept by elves and enchantef servants. Her mother is rarely home during the summer and fall, so it's usually just Mr. Krause, Peter, Miranda, Douglas, and Margaret at the house. Miranda devotes most of her time to studying potions and mathematics, sometimes even science, but she just likes to learn new things to keep her mind off distracting things, she always wants to keep herself busy and hates having nothing to do. At the moment only her older brother Peter Krause, a sixth-year Slytherin, attends Hogwarts.
