➽Morfran (MOHR fran)was the name of a character from mythology that was so ugly, the gods tried to give him wisdom and knowledge as compensation. In some versions they failed, and he faded to obscurity, but in others he is a ugly raven, wise beyond measure. His parents decided to name him this mostly because his father thought it sounded really cool.

➽ Pryderi (prih DEH ree) Was a name his mother got to decide. It meant “to care for” and she had hoped that he would grow up kind, and gentle. Caring for his fellow man, and eventually his own family. Her dream was never realized, and he never tells anyone his middle name.

➽Griffith (Griff ith) Was a family name. It’s not too terribly rare, and doesn’t meant a whole lot as far as he knows but his parent were always incredibly proud of the name, so he kept it, despite the fact that it helps people to track him down.

➽Chestnut and Dragon is a surprising combination. Chestnut by itself denotes a skilled caretaker of Care of Magical Creatures, or a good flyer or Herbologist. However, when paired with heartstring it shows a more unscrupulously greedy side. Griffith has always been rather acutely aware of this, but his wand has a personality so great Griffith sometimes even yells at it for messing up a complicated spell, and although he wouldn’t trade it for the world, he is rather sensitive about it.

➽Griffith was born in the early morning, smaller and lighter than he was supposed to be. The only people there for his birth was his mother, father, and a nurse that had volunteered to come and help.

➽Griffith was born near Tywyn, Wales, in a magically protected house, away from the muggle children. He spend his time in the forest playing and befriending some of the animals by gradually having them grow accustomed to his presence with treats of food. If he wasn’t being kind to the local wildlife, he would run about screaming, throwing sticks and rocks at trees in childish tantrums.

➽Griffith is extremely adept at the care of magical creatures, it being the one thing he truly believes he excels at, other than running away. He has travelled the world studying and helping creatures, magical or otherwise, and is especially interested in magical creatures with both physical or mental scarring, as he believes that since no one else wants to give these volatile creatures a chance at recuperation, he has to do it himself.

"Everyone's got a certain energy. The creatures can sense it better than I can, so I trust them. If they don't like you, I probably won't either."

➽Griffith is a very tall man, at 6' 10'', and looks about as intimidating as one can get. Broad shoulders and noticeable muscles stemming from routinely working hard with the creatures, as well as from the frequent runs and jogs he does to stay in shape. If something comes for him, he wants to be able to sprint as fast as his long legs will let him. Griffith is a firm believer that one shouldn't diet, one should exercise. That said, he seldom has enough time for much more than a sandwich

➽Griffith’s eyes are an icy blue, sharp, intelligent and proud. His eyes are extremely expressive, and it’s fairly easy to see what he’s thinking if you look close enough, assuming he’s not concentrating on his mental defense.

➽Griffith’s body is covered in scars, most of them small, from wounds that never quite healed all the way. However there is one large, nasty patch of scar tissue on his back, and a large line going across his chest. His face is relatively lacking in scars, other than a few tiny lines here and there. He also has a few noticeable scars on his hands. Most of these he got throughout the years, with creatures clawing or biting him, ,either accidentally or on purpose.

➽Griffith wears a long leather coat with large pockets that are enchanted to be far, far bigger on the inside than on the outside. He does not really care what he wears underneath, but does make sure to wash his coat regularly. As a result, it usually looks clean.

➽Griffith takes several showers a day to try and keep his creatures healthy, and goes to great lengths to keep his stables in perfect condition, excluding the blood spots he leaves outside to deter more timid students, but even those are not real. ➽Aoi Risa (Mrs. Risa) Griffith believes that she is both incredibly vain, and utterly inadequate. She starts off her sentences with japanese simply to prove that she can speak another language, and hasn't displayed a single redeeming factor as long as he has known her. He sums her up by calling her a "Authentic Weeaboo"

➽Hjørdis Jensen (Ms. Jensen) Nora first made a debut in Griffith's life when she tried to help him care for Perthyn Wendigo, a Phoenix that had hurt itself. Griffith tried his best to deter the woman and make her dislike him enough to never bother him again, however he did feel a certain admiration for how much she actually cared, and how dangerous he felt she could be. He later realized that she was still worried about the Phoenix, which has left him feeling rather guilty.

➽Elena Jones (Ms. Jones/Elena) Not the brightest student out there, he first met Elena when she was trying to use him as a bank to store the money she was using to feed a small gang of kids who didn't want to do work themselves. Although he questions her intelligence, he does realize that she needs help, and help he did, giving a home to one of her old friends, and sending the rest on a road to a respectable life. All in all, she has caused him a lot of trouble, but he can't help liking her. Just a little.

➽Falentra Black(Ms. Black) A pureblood that seems bored with the world and people in general. He was about to think she was just another snobbish highborn when she showed a excited side of herself when talking about an Occamy. He has already grown rather fond of her, and plans on trying to break some more of her shell away, eventually.

➽Sorrel Wright (Ms. Wright) The sweet Head of House of Gryffindor, he often wishes the students would go easier on her. He constantly has something to talk about with her, but never gets the chance to as she is seemingly always busy. He felt especially bad when the two Gryffindor students started a fight in Great hall.

➽Eris Fawley (Ms. Gryffinpuff/Ms. Fawley) A wonderful little girl that comes from a pretty bad past, he searched for Eris to try and get information that he was looking for, but ended up just trying to cheer her up and giving her someone to lean on if she ever needed one. Eris reminds him a lot of a little dragon, and he plans on naming a niffler 'ewok' for her, should he ever find himself caring for one of the little creatures.

➽Alan Vanes (Mr. Vanes) An annoying little kid that has no idea what a boundary is but is too sweet to pick up any hints that aren't positive and cheery. Griffith often feels the desire to give the little boy a smack upside the head, but despite all that, Alan reminds him of a little creature, and if the Gryffindor boy ever needed help, Griffith would probably come to help. Probably.

➽Rowan Bane (Mr. Bane) A nervous wreck of a boy with a soft heart that seems incredibly lonely. He has stretched ears, which is something Griffith certainly disapproves of as he things life changing decisions should be saved until after puberty, at the least. Still, Griffith helped the boy out by letting him play with a kruppy and tried to tell the boy to practice calming down when other people were being loud and rowdy.

➽Jane Victoria (Ms. Victoria) A kid with a lot of issues, probably stemming from her family. She feels the need to bully other kids and get into fights to feel strong, but doesn't really have the nerve to follow through with being a complete jerk, using book quotes to feel more intimidating. Or maybe movie quotes, he isn't sure. Griffith plans on finding the girl later and offering some actual help, but is currently too busy.

➽ Alexander Claassen (Mr. Claassen) A boy with many of the same issues that Ms. Victoria has, he found him trying to jump on the girl from behind like a coward to win a fight that shouldn't have been taking place. Somehow both a bully, and a victim, Griffith plans on having another talk with this boy in the future. He is and Ms. Victoria are both far from his good graces, one of the many reasons being the amount of stress they put Ms. Wright and Ms. Jensen through.

A standard little girl with hopes of becoming the next Magizoologist Supreme, she doesn't have much patience, but does have extremely weird hair, with a grand total of four different colors swimming about on her head. Griffith hopes she learns how to wait by the time her third year rolls around, or CoMC classes are going to be a pain.
