History/Background Story: Louis’ life before hogwarts is the same story you would find almost anywhere in the world for an eleven year old. Born to two muggles, he was lucky in one regard as his parents managed to maintain a loving relationship throughout his life, to the point that it was almost sickening, to his disgusted joy.

There had always been signs of Louis being magical, but nothing openly obvious and with two atheist parents it was quickly explained as weird perception tricks or an especially athletic moment for the hyperactive young boy. The only definitive proof of magic, and Louis himself being magic, came the day of his Hogwarts letter where in the space of ten minutes an owl fit in a 2cm thick post slot and Louis’ arm embraced its inner rope and stretched almost a metre to pluck the letter from his father’s hands.

If it weren’t for these moments, his parents would have thought it was a joke. As it was, however, they were pretty accepting of having their entire world view turned upside down, having both always been pragmatists before anything else. With that in mind, and some aid from the hogwarts staff, the two led their excitable young boy on a crash course of the wizarding world. He learned much in that short period of time, and happily waved goodbye to them for the first time as he boarded the platform 9 3/4 express.

On board he met his newest friend Sariel Monroe, and had engaged in discussion with her about a variety of topics (including chocolate frog cards).

You cry not because you’re weak, but because you’ve been strong for too long
