This unusual and highly attractive wand wood was greatly in vogue in the nineteenth century. Demand outstripped supply, and unscrupulous wandmakers dyed substandard woods in an effort to fool purchasers into believing that they had purchased silver lime. The reasons for these wands’ desirability lay not only in their unusually handsome appearance, but also because they had a reputation for performing best for Seers and those skilled in Legilimency, mysterious arts both, which consequently gave the possessor of a silver lime wand considerable status.

As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner.
The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

Marian loves food. After being introduced to Doritos at a movie night, Marian has been obsessed with them. She also loves butterbeer, though she limits her intake. At finishing camp, she ate more, shall we say, gourmet food. Her favorite dessert could be cream puffs, but sherbert would be a close second.

Those who know Marian well will know she has, you could say, two sides to her character. The energetic, bubbly, emotional side, and the polite, kind, calm side. These are reflected in her clothing.

When Marian was very young, she loved shiny things. When she was held as a baby or as a young toddler, she would always notice the holder's golden necklace, or silver earrings. She might be crawling at her house, and notice a paperclip stuck in the carpet. Many times, she would collect small trinkets and put them in a special box that Marian still has and adds to now.
One day, Marian's mother lost the diamond in her engagement ring, and no one could find it. All hope was lost, until Marian, at age three, noticed a piece of glass underneath a desk. She didn't want to touch it and cut her hand, so she got her mom. She showed her mom where it was, but her Mrs. Lynch couldn't see it. Marian pointed to it, and her mom was surprised to see that she had found her diamond.
Marian's room was often messy, but she didn't care, because she could always find what she needed as fast as if her room was organised and clean. Naturally, her brother was very jealous that Marian didn't have to clean her room as often, so he tried to hide stuff from her. It took Marian longer than usual, but she always found her things eventually.
When the family went to watch Quidditch, whether at the world cup, or somewhere else, Marian would see how long it took her to find the snitch. Usually she would find it long before the rest of her family. She would watch how the seekers moved, and followed their eyes, where they looked. Sometimes she would see a glint at the opposite side of the field, where neither seekers were flying. She pointed it out and her family would squint their eyes before exclaiming, "I see it! - I think."
She loved the gift she had, especially all the praise she received.

Marian stuck to robes, except when she was going somewhere that required muggle garb. Even then, she would display her Hufflepuff pride by wearing lots of yellow.

second year.

Marian wears graphic tees over her robes or a skirt. She likes lots of colours, and she likes cacti and succulent prints.

Her formal style however, is very different. She loves to wear light pink, white, and gold. always wearing a dress for formal occasions, except when she feels like wearing flowy pants or shorts.

Marian does not actually use it as a jewelry box, but keeps her shiny finds in it. Since she has a keen eye, she sees more than others.

Marian's mother gave this to her before Marian left for finishing school. She treasures it and puts it in her jewelry box when she's not wearing it.
