History/Background Story: Rylet was born and originally raised in Ireland by her Irish father John and Italian mother Selena. She was such named because of her fathers pursuit of uniqueness. Her mother wanted to name her Letty, and her father Ryder, so in the spirit of compromise Rylet was puzzled from the two options.

Her parents first met in their younger years during college, both having decided to immigrate to Scotland to receive their education. It was a normal college romance born of young love and fiery sparks. Once they had graduated they married and moved back to her fathers childhood city in Ireland. With John's degree in engineering he quickly found a job with a local machine shop helping to design brewery equipment. Serena on the other hand took longer to find a job, her business degree not fit for any jobs she found interesting, and she ended up as a secretary.

But nothing ever lasts, and it was not long after Rylet was born that the romance in their relationship started to fade. Her father putting in long hours at his job while Selena took care of Rylet herself for the most part. Rylet's parents moved back too Scotland when John was offered a job promotion, Rylet was seven at the time and the move forced her to leave the only friends and life she had ever known.

The change was tough for Rylet, and she developed a rather quiet and awkward disposition, not often speaking too others. John was barley around, not that he had ever been the most present of parents, so over the years Rylet and her mother formed a very tight bond. She also took to spending time on her own, learning to amuse herself in an empty house. Some of her favorite things too do were watch TV, daydream, read, play video games, sing, and stay active. She would try and workout a few times every week, usually at dusk or very early in the morning, her favorite exercises were running with her music and doing ab workouts. Selena would take her daughter out with her too see her many friends and go shopping and exploring. They truly became more like best friends than child and parent. Rylet never would have thought she would leave her mothers side so soon... well that was until she received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts that is.

It had all started a few months beforehand when weird thing started happening around her. Her vivid imagination starting to coming alive. The pointer Rylet's teacher always wacked her desk with started too wack her teacher. That time she wished the mean boy from school would be hit by the door on his way out, he was... repeatedly. But it did't end there and Rylet started to become scared of herself, trying to control her imagination and her temper.

It was a testament to her fathers lack of care that he never noticed all the weird occurrences, but Rylet's mother did. It was a relief to them both when the Hogwarts letter arrived one night while they were cocooned on the couch having one of their movie nights. They both knew her father would never agree to send Rylet to a 'school for magic,' so they lied. Looking up a fake boarding school in England they sold the idea of Rylet going to the fake school to her father. Luckily the only fight they had was about the money involved, but Serena and Rylet eventual wore him down and when school started, she was sent off too a new and unknown future.

Her mother accompanied her too England to buy her supplies in Diagon Alley and then sent her of on platform nine and three quarters at kings cross. Crossing the solid looking entryway together, hands clasped tight with each other, and matching screams on their lips.

Description: Rylet is very shy and awkward around people she does not know, often sitting quietly in a corner somewhere reading or playing a game on her phone or DS. She likes to keep her back to the wall and see the room in front of her, eyes on her back one of many things that make her uncomfortable. However it would be unfortunate for someone to assume just because of her quiet demeanor that Rylet is a push over. If she is ever confronted, or see someone getting unfairly treated she can become cold and confidant, she has a fiery temper and a little bit of impish mischief when it comes to people trying to intimidate her. She is also an aggressive sport player, not afraid to throw her wait around on the field. Rylet is very loyal to those she calls her own, and will stand by them no matter what. Whether that be her family, friends, team, or Hogwarts house. Rylet is also a bit of an oddity, she is well practiced at zoning out and day dreaming fantastical tings. Her imagination is vast and weird things will often pop into her mind though they are not always voiced. She loves to surprise people and see their reactions, as well as having a very interesting sens of humor at times she can also choke up and be unable to think of anything at all to say. Rylet is not a total believer, but she does love to draw connections between her own personality of which she likes being self aware of, and what astral signs say about a person her her sign, an Aquarius. These connections include such things as the emotional distance she puts between herself and others as well as her introverted nature. Rylet is also very responsible, she barley every looses anything and is always on top of her homework and absolutely loves to get ahead even if this practice often depresses and stresses her out. She will often put homework over other people and her other needs such as food and sleep. This lack of procrastination does not however always transfer over to things that are not homework, like paperwork or chores, getting her hair cut or buying something she need. Another things that irritates Rylet is sending money, she is very picky about what and how much she sends, much preferring to put it in the bank and save it.

Skin: Ivory skin with a bit of an olive tint attributed to her Italian heritage. When she spends time in the sun she gets a light dusting of freckles along the bridge of her nose and on her shoulders and upper arms.

Build: Slim but in a slightly athletic way

Accessories: She loves to wear a leather cuff on her right wrist and a watercolor painted clay pendant on a black string like necklace around her neck.
