History/Background Story:
Thomas Kristopher McKenzie was born on December 22nd, 2006 in Inverness, Scotland. Nicknamed “T.K.” by his older brother, Fletcher, he is the second of two boys born to muggles Oliver and Emily McKenzie. His father, an airline pilot, was rarely home. He was killed in a car accident during a layover in Munich, Germany. His mother a nurse, went on to become the office manager for a general practitioner located in downtown Inverness. Busy with her job, T.K. and his brother spent most of their time with their grandmother, Ella, in the suburbs of the city.
T.K. was an active child who spent most of his free time playing in the streets, chasing after his older brother. Five years his elder, Fletcher was a patient brother who protected and encouraged T.K. Either watching his brother or hanging out with his brother’s friends, T.K. was always by his brother’s side. He religiously attended his brother’s rugby matches. As one of T.K.’s best friends and supporters, Fletcher was the first T.K. told about his magic, and the person by his side as he prepared for Hogwarts.
For his entire childhood, T.K. has only known muggle culture and interests. He was an avid football player with a passion for playing as a defender and goalie. Before his invitation to Hogwarts, he was preparing to try out for his school’s junior varsity field hockey team. Beyond sports, he was an average student. Although he struggled to learn things quickly, he was resilient and determined. Throughout his crash course in life as a wizard, his resilience and confident solidity have been invaluable assets.
