-Morgan doesn't go on her life with a poker face. She is almost always seen grinning and smiling. However, when it comes to negative emotions, most people would never see her get angry or cry. It's not that she is hiding it; she just doesn't see any reason to be so. Even at the time when her mother left, Morgan didn't shed a tear. She doesn't want to admit it, but she has trouble understanding emotions and is not a good shoulder to lean on.

-don't get this wrong; Morgan is not actively looking to break every single rule. She just doesn't pay much attention to them. As long as the rule-breaking process is pretty harmless and the consequences are fun enough, she'd be doing it. What good is anything without some fun? Morgan chooses fun over the law, that's all.
History/Background Story:
When the letter to Hogwarts was sent to Morgan, she had almost forgotten that she was a witch. She could barely remember the happy moments when her mother showered her with gifts from the wizarding world. Morgan's mother Mae was always out-going and adventurous, leaving both her dad and her to go on exciting adventures to places unknown to her. Morgan didn't complain about that; seeing her mother once a month was okay with her, probably because she knew Mae was going to come back each time she left.
When Morgan was eight, however, Mae left for real. Love at first sight, she told the child. That feeling of warmth and assurance that this was the right man for her; Morgan hasn't seen her since then. Her muggle dad Charlie tried his best to care for his daughter and Morgan had to admit, he was pretty good at the job. Even in his busy work days had he always managed to save some time for his loving daughter and Morgan was pleased it was him and not her mother who is still by her side.
Morgan still was quite the outsider. Influenced by her father's taste in music, she began to adore rock and metal at a very young age. Wanting to look like one of the members of her favorite rock band, she kept her hair as short as possible, easily mistaken as a boy. The kids teased her, telling that she's being like a boy since she doesn't have a mother. Morgan didn't care; she only used her headphones to block those words.
The first thought which came to her mind when she got the letter was how in the hell she'd be able to survive a school without ever using her phone. Although she hoped to see all the magic this world could offer, she told herself not to end up like her mother.
