Hailing from an adoptive family of muggles, and no previous connections to his magical side pre-dating Hogwarts, Charlie can sometimes be clueless to the innerworkings of magical society, despite having pure blood. After finding out that he is one of the last remaining Woodwards^(X) Charlie has developed a rather bad habit of seeking validation. Whether through lables or skills, there is a deep-rooted urge to overcompensate for things he does not know- this included.

Charlie is, with friends at least, satire in nature. Often times his conversations can be laced with humour or keen remarks, and he is prone to quipping back when challenged. While not necessarily violent in nature, he is more prone to an argument against those he disagrees with should he find someone he simply cannot empathise with, or lovingly teasing those he cares about.

Oftentimes, Charlie is a fluid character and is very empathetic. While he does command his own set of morals and beliefs, he is very willing to change his opinion when presented with new evidence. He is one to stick to his beliefs, but is willing to admit when he is wrong, and also accepts that others have opinions that aren't akin to his own. It's no reason to fight.

He dislikes people who have no regard for those around them or are unaware of others feelings or how they might be affected. He tries very hard to be emotionally aware and is usually the most in-tune with his feelings. He has developed a habit of reading the room and reading social cues in order to best interact with those around him and really hates upsetting people, at the risk of his own personal choices or beliefs. He would rather be kind than right and is aware of the effect that being harsh can have on people.

Charlie has, and quite possibly will always be under the mindset of "give, don't take." His tendency to read and act according to other's dispositions gives him a "service" mindset. He would much rather listen and give advice or simply comfort someone, than allow his own feelings to take precedence. As he is usually quite aware of his own feelings, he has a tendency to internalise and is extremely bad with communicating his own personal woes or hurts. He wants to desperately help others and never become a burden.

While most definitely on the incline, Charlie suffers from social anxiety and anti-social behaviours due to the happenings of his first year. This had lead to his over-analysis of disposition. He is awkward by nature with new people, although he tries to hide this. There are many times when he simply doesn't know what to do or say simply because of the lack of socialisation on his part.

Charlie is an adrenaline junkie and an adventure-enthusiast. If you offer him excitement, it's hard for him to back down. He lives for excitement, and always wants to know more. While he might be a scholar at heart, he's known for the hands-on approach. He will always be prone to danger, as thats when his blood is pumping.

Charlie is neutral good, meaning he leans both towards lawful or chaotic means in order to do the most good in a situation. He is not afraid to break the rules in order to help others or for what he deems is the greater good, but will follow rules when they best serve the situation.

★Personal History★

Charles "Charlie" Atticus Woodward is the last 'true' extant Woodward of the Pureblood line. He was born in America, in the city of New York to Elliot and Geneva Woodward. While his first two years were spend in the care of his biological parents, and his elder sister of one year and 5 months Tulia, his family was tracially taken from him in an accident involving dangerous, volatile magic. Afterwards, he was placed in the care of the foster system, where he travelled south from New York to Pennsylvania, where he found himself in the care of his adoptive mother's sister as a foster child. When his adoptive parents discovered they could not have their own, they met Charles and fell in love with him immediately, deciding to adopt him and take him to their quaint, quiet little home to raise him with all the love they could muster.

He spent almost all of his youth either in books or in the woods, his father, Harvey, encouraging him to play and pretend and soar with his imagination while his mother insisted on education and reading the moment he could speak. He held a deep passion for empirical knowledge, as well as adventures and the outdoors. When he wasn't reading about science or history, he found a deep passion for fantasy and fiction. His adventures in the woods would take him to the grandest of places, only further explemplified when he met his best friend, Ellias Shor

The Woodwards Paternal Family The Woodward House is a pureblood family originally settled in the heart of the United Kingdom- however has many extant relatives across all of Europe, including France, Estonia, Italy, and even Northern Africa in Egypt and Ethiopeia. While they were a powerful family in the UK at one time, the Woodwards were thought to be largely extinct following the Global Wizarding War in the 20s-40s. However, this is not the case as one Charles Woodward has been determined to be the last 'true' heir to the family name. Woodwards are known for their scholars and mediwizards- both the selfless, and the reckless or selfish. Oftentimes Hufflepuffs or Ravenclaws, They are known to have a double standard of deception, and many involved themselves in questionable magical practices to find results in the past.

The Otavios Maternal Family While Charle's father was a Woodward, his mother was an Otavio. The House Otavio was once a powerful pureblood family from across the world- starting in France and Portugual before spreading down to Polynesia during the time of colonisation. When blood mixed, both magically and racially, the house was largely forgotten in Europe- however continued to run strong in the islands of the Pacific Ocean before finding its way to America- where they became a standard and well-known group of Witches and Wizards among the students of Ilvermorny. Otavios were often known for being placed in the houses of Pukwudgie and Thunderbird, for their thrill-seeking inventors and their empathetic healers- and were oftentimes talented travellers and fliers across the seas of their ancestor's homes in the pacific. They were oftentimes the least "pureblood" of the families in America, and were reminded of it freqently.

The Porters
Adoptive Family

While Charle's blood may run pure, his heart beats for 2 very special muggles in his life: The Porters. They haven't come from much- a young, millenial couple from the city who inherited his fathers' farm, They found out very early on that Naomi Porter could not bear children- so they turned to adoption.
They own a small property in North Texas, bordering a large, thick forest. The farm handles small fields of roots and veggies, and 6 goats, 13 chickens, two cows, a peacock, and a farm cat. They also own a dog (lovingly named Sushi, by one Charlie Woodward) and are well-known in their small-town community.

	Naomi Porter Adoptive Mother A teacher and a muggle from upstate Pennsylvania, She met her husband, Harvey Porter, on complete happenstance when she missed her flight back home from visiting family in California- (her connection fight happening to be in Texas- at the airport where Harvey was returning from trip north for work.) After nearly a year of long-distance dating, she finally graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in teaching and theology, and moved down to Harvey's hometown, where he'd just inherited his fathers farm, becoming the small town's teacher, and giving Charlie his sense of wonder, empirical taste, and taste for knowledge.
	Sebastian Porter Adoptive Father The son of a farmer and a seamstress, Sebastian came from humble beginnings before his real life began. Growing up in a small town in the middle of North Texas, he'd always been a dreamer. He wanted a family, and to find a love of his own- Naomi- whom he'd accidentally run into while he was leaving an airport from a business trip. He works as the head of the farm he inhereted from his father- and as the manager of the logging business that the town is known for. He adores his wife and son with every fibre of his being, and has been a great role for Charlie: always promising adventure and fantasy in his life.
	Ellias Shor Childhood Best Friend Ellias was, from the very beginning, Charlie's best friend. A young boy born to two pureblood ministry workers who function as British Embassadors in MACUSA, Ellias spends his school years at Ilvermorny, and summers in the small, Texan town in his parent's summer home. He met Charlie when they were younger, and were the best of friends right up until they were seperate because of school. Ellias did not know Charlie is also a wizard- and chose to cut Charlie off from his life after being admitted to Ilvermorny for fear of accidentally revealing it to him, or getting him hurt and obliviated. Ellias is in house Thunderbird, and would be in Gryffindor, if he was at Hogwarts.

	Geneva Otavio Woodward Biological Mother A pureblood witch from America, from the Ilvermorny House of Pukwudgie. She was a smart, charismatic woman who met her future husband, Elliot, at school. She comes from a long line of nomadic healing wizards and witches. She, unlike her family, wanted to live a stable, established life outside of school with Elliot, hoping to become a mediwizard in their area. She adored and loved her husband, and two children, with a deep passion- always wanting the best for them, until she tragically died in an accident with her husband and daughter- leaving her son alone.
	Elliot Woodward Biological Father The son of Elliot Woodward, and the last heir of the Woodward lineage before Charlie's claim to the "throne." He was a student of Ilvermorny, in the house of Horned Serpent- and was a scholar at heart with a deep interest in the study of magic and emotional connection: researching empathetic abilities and how magic could be used to communicate with people when words failed. He was a bashful, kind soul who deeply cared for his family and wanted them to express themselves freely. However, after the freak accident which killed everyone but his son- that dream was never fully realised.
	Bedeilia Woodward D'Mont Paternal Aunt Charlie's last living relative, Bedeilia is a strong, dominant woman who lives in Paris, France. She attended Beauxbatons- under the house of Ombrelune where she was particularly gifted in Transfiguration. Despite this, she was transferred to Durmstrang in her 5th year, where she excelled in Dark Arts for a time, before graduating and becoming a member of the Ministère des Affaires Magiques de la France as an Auror. She is young, and extremely cutthroat- and hides many secrets beneath her vale eyes.

Threads - X || X || X	Rafael D'Spacito Friend || Quidditch Captain and Teammate Although Charlie supposed he was rather the quiet soul when they first met at the team meeting, Rafael has made great effort to show him the magic and hard work that goes into the Quidditch Team. Rafael has been a patient, but uplifting force in Charlie's time on the team, and hypes him up during games when he makes scores. Charlie truly appreciates having Rafael in his life, seeing as he'd probably his only guy friend- but the support from his captain really goes the extra mile for him.

They have shared a kiss (on accident, he should note) and he genuinely cares for her and her wellbeing- even if he has difficulty expressing it. They might not be jovial companions- but rather those connected by a string of unfortunate circumstances, but that doesn't change the fact that he respects her, and cares deeply for her.
Threads - X	Aurelia Roberts Friendly Aquaintence An underclassman whom Charlie determined has an exuberant personality, Miss Roberts was one of the girls whom he rode the Express back to London with. Perhaps not his cup of tea in volume or in demeanour, he thinks she's a fine young witch with a lot of potential.
Threads - X	Anastasia Beckett Disliked || Aquaintence A peer whom Charlie wouldn't say he's particularly fond of right now: Anastasia Beckett is an odd Gryffindor whom replaced Charlie on the Quidditch team, after being relegated to second string due to injury. He doesn't hate her- it's his fault he got hurt, but he's still a bit bitter overall... Maybe they can fix that?
