History/Background Story:
Hello, my name is Juniper Fawley. My twin sister Willow and I were born on 23.9.2005. Mum was a duellist but she died in a tournament duel accident when we were five so dad raised us on his own – with help from grand-mother that is.
We're from a “pure-blood ancestry” as grand-mother calls it, but... well, I started at Hogwarts this year but Willow... My twin turned out to be a squib. Grand-mother says that it's lucky that grand-father didn't live long enough to meet us or he most likely would've disinherited Dad for not disinheriting Willow. Dad is trying to figure out how to find a school or tutors for her. I don't mind that she doesn't have magic – it never really mattered to the two of us – but I miss her like crazy. She's my second half after all and this is the first time we've been separated. Had she been a witch she would've ended up in Ravenclaw for sure. She's always been the more inquir, err...inquisitive one. I prefer playing games to reading.
We have a pet jackalope named Strumpy (don't ask) and a tawny owl named Rameses. They live with us in our cottage just outside Peterborough. Dad works somewhere in the ministry but he won't tell us where exactly. I like knitting and crocheting. I'm not really good at it yet, but grand-mother taught me whenever we lost Willow to the library. According to her it was the only way to get me to sit still and quietly. Grand-mother prefers knitting the muggle way, she calls it a mindless task and whenever she has something to contam... cont... contemplate, she does it while knitting. Magic makes it easier of course but I wasn't allowed to use magic yet anyway.
Willow is my best and only friend. We didn't know many other children and the ones we knew where a bit too stuck-up. (Willows words, not mine. I'd just call them boring.)
