HistoryPre-Hogwarts
Brought into the world on August 20th, John was birthed into a humble family which lived in the small village of Essex, England. His mother was a muggle, his father a wizard, and together they lead as normal a life as they could manage.
Jane Swann, his mother, disliked magic in all forms. It was quite frankly a miracle that she and her husband - Thomas - were together, but somehow they made it work. Not that John ever really cared. At a young age, the boy showed his attunement to the mystical art that he'd be gifted with. His father - despite Jane's wishes - taught the child in secret, taking him to a variety of natural landmarks near their home to allow John to study and experience several magical creatures that inhabited the wilderness.
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them," this book was given to John when his father realized that he'd taken a liking to the smaller creatures that lived near them. Why not introduce his son to the grand creature that wizards studied every day? There were so many possibilities, and for the boy? This was only the beginning.
A letter... A fateful letter that would surely change his life forever. For it would take him to Hogwarts, the school where Witches and Wizards from all over attend to hone their magical prowess and learn more about the mystical world that awaited them. Of course, Jane was not the least bit excited about her son leaving to such a place, but.... Seeing the excitement on her only son's face made her speechless. She just couldn't bring herself to say no to such an innocent and curious child, and so, the boy's journey began.....
