History
Cecilia Moore was born to a young couple living in the countryside near Glasgow, where she'd live up until she was discovered to have magic. Her father's a Muggle, so he was surprised to say the least! Her mother is from a magical family, though she herself had none. Emilia Moore still harbours some jealous towards her sister Alisa for having been born a witch when she was not. Nonetheless, she was ecstatic when Cecilia first began showing signs of it at the age of 9. Considered a 'late bloomer', she was sent to live with her aunt every summer, learning of the magic world until she was old enough to attend Hogwarts.
Getting the letter was a dream come true for the girl, and she anxiously awaited the day she'd arrive. Until then, she'd continue her hobbies of reading, gardening, and tinkering with various materials. Her father did blacksmithing on the side, mostly as a hobby, and Cecilia would get to help him with the less intensive projects. Having no other siblings, she's quite close to both parents, as well as her Aunt Alisa.
Living on a small acreage outside of the city also meant that she didn't have many friends, though she was friendly with the other children at her Muggle school. It didn't matter much to her, as it meant more time for her to spend reading or hanging out with the family's chickens. Even so, she can be considered to be very outgoing, if a bit socially awkward.
