Ebony is stubborn as heck. If she has her mind stuck on something, there is no way that anyone can change it. Someone tried, and in turn, she ignored them for the rest of the year.

Sometimes you won't even notice she's there. She doesn't speak much because of two reasons. A.) She notices if you just observe people you can learn much more than just talking to them. B.) Talking means someone will notice you, and if they turn out to be a bully, than that sucks for everyone.

Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. If Ebony finds an interest in anything she will not stop in till her curiosity is quenched. This gets her in trouble countless times, but Ebony doesn't really care.

Sometimes she wonders why she was put in hufflepuff. Oh well. Ebony doesn't care to speak her mind and won't care if she is judged for it. She also can be a dare-devil at times, which may or may not have caused her to accidentally break a car window before..

Ebony was always a bit peculiar. She wasn't weird, per say. Ebony might be sad one second, than go extremely trigger happy the next. This, in turn, frightened some people. Now, this is only if you managed to get past the barrier Ebony puts up. Then, and only then, is when you actually see some feelings.

Ebony can be loyal, if you are her friend. If you tell her a secret, or anything, she will probably not tell anyone, unless you get her really mad. Ebony tries to be loyal and kind to people, some part of her hoping she can make friends, no matter how lame it sounds when you say it out loud.

Ebony doesn't have much people she would call close friends so, in turn, she's very protective of them. If anyone hurts her friend they might as well asked to die. Ebony goes as far as to risk her safety and to get in trouble if it concerns her friends well-being.
