Kaede was born in Dublin, Ireland to a muggle father and a pureblood witch. His mother is said to be one of the descendants of one of the best known Japanese Seers, although Kaede isn't sure that he actually believes in any of that. He sometimes tends to be naïve in the ways of the world and often just stumbles around a little, as he hopes for the best. Kaede has lived all his life in Ireland, but sometimes ventures as far afield as Japan to visit his grandparents. He enjoys the adventure of exploring new countries and new places that he has discovered.
As for his father's side of the family, they are a muggle family from county Cork and are well respected in the art of butchery and woodcraft, although his father is a little different, as he lived and taught in Japan for a little while, this was where he met his wife and fallen deeply in love with her.
Kaede is the youngest of three siblings and even though the three of them are close, he often feels like is got a long way to go before he can get out of their shadows, even if those worries seem a little unfounded and based on a fabricated lie, that wasn't actually meant to mean anything because it developed from a bad joke.
While growing up, he lived a pretty normal life of quietness in the countryside, never really doing much to get noticed by anyone that could bear him any ill-harm. Kaede started showing little pieces of magic from a young age and has enjoyed playing with one too many magical creatures.
Kaede is rather gangling and overly thin for his age, because of how much time he spends outside and running around in the "wild", he has almond shaped dark brown eyes, a cheeky smile and messy long dark hair.

Personal:
John Williams- He is very close to his father and often spends long afternoons playing board games with him. People often say that he has his father wrapped around his little finger, this isn't all that true but not false either, because he can get around him when it's needed. John for the most part treats all of his children as friends, but he is tough on them when needed. He is usually the one that Kaede goes to when he needs advice.
Aika Nakamura- Kaede loves his mother deeply, but isn't very close to her. She is rather strict and often comes across as stand offish towards people, but deep down she has a very caring side and would do anything for her family. Kaede really respects his mother and only wants the best for her, even if she thinks that he doesn't have to worry about her. It was decided early on, that the children would go under her name and have English names which they could decide to use or not.
Siblings- Kaede is the youngest of three and because of this he is usually babied by his older siblings. There's a bit of sibling rivalry but not much.
