Elrich Schulz III (Father)
Quite possibly the coldest person Elrich IV has ever met. Attended Hogwarts where he was sorted into Slytherin, which was fitting as he was raised to greatly value blood status. He attained top marks among his classmates and was named Head Boy in his seventh year. He met his future wife, Muriel, in his sixth year. Upon graduation, he returned to Munich, Germany, where he spent much of his childhood. There, he married Muriel Schulz and they settled down. He held a position in the German Ministry of Magic for quite some time but insisted on moving back to England after the birth of his son for unknown reasons. He now holds a position in the Department of International Magical Cooperation of the British Ministry, which keeps him away from home quite often. He is as strict in his work as he is in his family life, demanding nothing less than perfection.
Muriel Gordon Schulz (Mother)
Muriel Gordon grew up in London, England. As an only child, she was given a happy childhood with all the love and attention she could ever want. She attended Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw, which displeased her pure blooded, Slytherin majority family. She excelled in classes like herbology charms, which lead to her easily making it as a healer post-graduation. Although she is not nearly as ruthless with their son as her husband, she still spends most of her time abroad in order to lend her skills to hospitals internationally.
Pre-Hogwarts
Born to Elrich Schulz III and Muriel Gordon, Elrich IV was born in Munich, Germany, but his family moved to Manchester, England almost immediately after.
Elrich lived a rather isolated childhood; he was home schooled by a family friend and had little interaction with people his own age. Both of his parents had busy professional lives, so he relied on books for mental stimulation. This did not stop them from influencing his personality, however, as they both made it clear that they expected nothing but the best academically from him.
This isolation left him unaccustomed to social situations, so he often comes as cold and indifferent towards others. This in turn made it even harder for him to connect with other children his own age. What he lacked in social skills, he made up for in intellectualism beyond his years, however. While he takes pride in this, he also has a deep-seated sense of loneliness (though he would never admit it to anybody). It also lead to him having a deep seated hatred for his father, who always made him feel unwanted and inferior, as nothing Elrich did was ever good enough for him.
The pressure from his parents caused him to adopt a determined outlook on life; whatever the task, he would search for a solution. Long hours reading and studying to solve a question posed to him never phased him, as he had little else to do.
Being a pure-blooded wizard, Elrich knew that at the age of eleven he would get a letter to attend Hogwarts. What he did not expect was what exactly would transpire once he got there.

Upon being sorted into Gryffindor, Elrich is filled with self doubt and rage. He was always told that the house was filled with dimwits and neanderthals. As of now, he has learned to live with his house assignment. He is more concerned with expanding his knowledge on all things magical and establishing himself as a "trust worthy individual".
