Biography
Teagan Rivera, born September 9th, 2006 to her father and now-deceased mother, Matthew and Jennifer Rivera, has always struggled with a rather complicated home-life. Her mother passed away a tragic two months after she was born, leaving Teagan with a rather unprepared father and a house too small to put up with her constant wandering and accidental firing of magic into lampshades and windows.
Matthew was married when Teagan was seven, inviting two new step-sisters into the house, and two brothers shortly after that. Her step-mother, nowhere close to the evil witch she should have been, welcomed Teagan into her life like her own daughter, making her realize all of the beauty she'd missed after her mother had passed away. Her siblings, of course, could be quite the hassle at times; but Teagan loved them to death all the same.
Teagan had no idea she was a witch until rather late into her elementary school years. Though her father and mother had both been wizards, her step-mother was only a Muggle and Matthew had exited the wizarding world long ago. She learned later that her father had been hoping against hope she wouldn't enter into Beauxbatons or Hogwarts, afraid she might get wrapped up in the politics and danger of London. We cannot all get what we most wish for in life, I'm afraid, and Teagan received her letter from Hogwarts shortly after her eleventh birthday.
Although Teagan would've been open to any house she entered into, she's somewhat relieved she was accepted in Ravenclaw. A self-proclaimed journalist and thesaurus addict, she thinks that this will be the easiest place to call home; maybe even more so than her large cottage back at home. She also researched hundreds of riddles before she came to Hogwarts, just to be on the safe side. Teagan thinks it's quite strange that there's no Internet, but she'll manage.

Phaedra Stravou - Teagan met Phaedra in the Girls' Dormitories of Ravenclaw. She was very helpful in Teagan's attempt to navigate the complicated world of classes.
Delilah Stewart - Teagan met Delilah in the house Common Rooms, and they have since exchanged several owls debating the average height of an eleven year old girl.
