The History of Grace
♙ Birthplace: Ballintoy, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Grace was born the only child to famous muggle, and children's book author, Thomas Vale, and his wife, Delilah Vale. Growing up the family of three lived reclusively due to her father's international popularity and they ended up settling down in Ballintoy, a small village off the coast of Northern Ireland. It was here that she was exclusively home-schooled due to the dwindling population of under 200 people. Without any peers of her own age to be her measuring stick of normality, Grace was blissfully unaware of how unusual she was. Apparently causing flowers to bloom, paper planes to dance, and astronomical mobile's to spin, wasn't considered normal. Luckily Delilah was quick to recognize the signs of a budding witch, having been the parent Grace inherited her magic from. At the age of seven she learned of the wizarding world, so large and unfathomable beyond her tiny coastal village.
But Grace had been strange prior to her magical discovery; she'd rather collect sea shells and write poetry than play. So it came as no surprise to her parents when her 11th birthday arrived, and Grace finally received her infamous Hogwarts' letter, that she immediately begged her parents to acquire the readings. The weeks prior to her departure for London were spent pouring herself over the books, desperate for knowledge in a way that most children are not.
