History

Paracelsus Adger Myth was born in the outskirts of Montrose a cold and windy December morning. The 8th of December to be more precise. He was born later then planed and was therefore also quite big. He could lift his head up form the crib only days after he was born. This excited his grandfather especially, which at once started bragging to his acquaintances of what a powerful wizard his grandson would be. Like most grandparents i guess.

His grandfather pushed for his daughter (Paracelsus mother) to name him after him, but Paracelsus mother refused. She did however give Paracelsus his grandfathers name as a middle name. His first name was going to be Paracelsus. That was one thing she had decided from the moment she knew she was pregnant. Paracelsus is known as a great alchemist in history, and as an alchemist herself, she wanted to give here firstborn a name with both wisdom and power. And that’s how Paracelsus name became Paracelsus Adger Myth.

His early years was spent almost entirely in the wizard community located on the outskirts of Montrose. He often ran out exploring among the hills and meadows around the family home. Although his mother would reprimand him for running so far of, he would disappear again the next day on new adventures.

The first time he could remember going to the city was when he was around six. His grandfather brought him to his first ever Quidditch match. It was a match between the Montrose Magpies and the Wigtown Wanderers. The Magpies won, and Paracelsus got his new favorite sport and a new favorite team. His favorite position is the beater, and if he becomes a Quidditchplayer that's the position he wants to go for.

Paracelsus spent the years right before he began school doing more practical learning before enrolment. While his parents wouldn’t allow any magic use but he still received some education on magical animals, spell theory and such. He never went to muggle school and had to learn how to read and write from his family too. He also started “training” on his own with a broomstick. He would often try to borrow the family’s broomsticks to fly around on, to his mother’s great distress. It was under one of these flying sessions only around a year before he went to Hogworts that he lost control of the broom he borrowed and crashed into a cluster of trees. After knocking his head over a tree branch, he gained a scar on his chin that he still has to this day. "Adds character" is something his father say. Parcel himself don’t mind it, but he has a bad habit of scratching it when he thinks.
Appearance

Parcel is in all actuality a very plain looking boy. He is a bit higher than average, and maybe with broader shoulders then some. But when all is said and done, quite a plain looking boy.
You can mostly see him in his Hogwarts uniform, and often a bit ruffed up or dusty. He often goes climbing or crawling around exploring new places so dust on he's knees and sweater is a everyday sight.
He has brown hair, that never really settles down but always sticks out her and there.
His most noticeable feature is probably a scar that goes from the edge of the right side of his mouth and down to the middle of his chin.
Personality

His personality is pretty straight forward. He is bad at lying and try to be nice to all people he meet. Of course, he is still a kid, and can have a tantrum no and again but they tend to be few and far between. He was raised in a loving home and his personality reflects that. He is easy to trust people and sees people as friends quickly. He can act impulsive and aren't afraid of the consequences because he have never really had to face severe consequences for his actions before.
He has calmed down a bit after the whole broom-incident before he began school, but if he gets fired up he stops remembering it and go back to his old self.
His wand
Image

Another way to grasp Parcel as a person is probably to take a look at his wand. For as most of us know "The wand chooses the wizard". Because of this we can get a glimpse into Parcel by looking at the wand that chose him.
Parcel's wand is a 28,0 cm cherry wood and dragon heartstring wand.

Reducio
Cherry
This very rare wand wood creates a wand of strange power, most highly prized by the wizarding students of the school of Mahoutokoro in Japan, where those who own cherry wands have special prestige. The Western wand-purchaser should dispel from their minds any notion that the pink blossom of the living tree makes for a frivolous or merely ornamental wand, for cherry wood often makes a wand that possesses truly lethal power, whatever the core, but if teamed with dragon heartstring, the wand ought never to be teamed with a wizard without exceptional self-control and strength of mind.
Dragon
As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

Parcel is quite happy with his wand, or really he has no complaints so technically he is overjoyed. He has received a wand that complements his strengths very well. While he is probably under average quick on his feet, and he also gets easily bruised. What Parcel feels he excels at is control. He often uses more time on things than other people just so he can feel comfortable doing it in any situation. An example is that he often uses more time learning one spell to a really good level, instead of trying to learn many spells at the same time and only being at a adequate level in all of them.
To be able to handle and control what he is doing, is something he has adapted doing after he starter to learn to fly on his own. The less he was able to control the broom, the more he would fall of. And for one that gets as easily bruised as Parcel, learning how not to get thrown of the broom means less bruises. Which in return means a smaller chance that his mother would find out, and hooo boy, don't let his mother find out..
Family

The Myth family

The myth family home is located on the outskirts of the Scottish town Montrose. They live in the countryside in a wizarding community that have been there for centuries.
When the community was in its early stages the Myth’s held function as chieftains and rule makers for the community. Together with a small number of elders they would protect and look over the rest of the families living around them.
The community has learned to love the family and even though the Ministry has taken up the function as lawmakers for all of Great Britain, the community still come to the Myth’s for help with minor problems or monster extermination.

The Myth’s have for as long as can be remembered been a good wizarding family. There are no known dark wizards that carry the name Myth. There is also very few Myth’s up through the ages that have been put in the Slytherin house. The house that have held the most Myth’s is by far Hufflepuff, with Gryffindor in second place and Slytherin in third. There has never been a born Myth in the Ravenclaw house, but several members of the family have married people that was put in Ravenclaw.
The family is known as a rather nonviolent group of people, but they are a terrifying adversary if provoked. They protect that which is theirs and their friends. That is also one of the traits that have helped them stay respected in the community for all this years.
While the Myth’s have no custom of forcing their family members to come back to Montrose after graduation, there have always been a custom that at least one family member lives in their family home.
The Myth coat of arms has many symbols in it, all with a deeper meaning. There is an animal depicted on the main shield, A Cerebus wearing a necklace of weighted iron. The Cerebus stands for ‘Guardian’ and the iron necklace for ‘a weighty service’. This is for the seriousness the family takes in keeping the community they live in safe and protected even if it sometimes can be a hard burden to carry. The Cerebus stands on a background that is half black and half white.
The shield is held up by two guardians of the family. The first protector is a badger, which stands for the family’s tenacity in what they do, and the second protector is a Bagwyn which represents their Fierceness and bravery in defense.

Eugene Myth
Role: Father

Eugene is Parcel’s father, but Parcel don’t know much about the mans history before he became a Myth.
Eugene is not the one of Parcel’s parents birthed into the Myth family, but ratter he took the Myth name when he married Parcel’s mother.
Eugenes family does not hail from brittain, but came from another country some time back. Some say to support Voldemort, but that has never been proven.
When Eugene went to Hogwarts he was put in Hufflepuff. Parcel have gathered from context that it came as a surprise to Eugene, as most of his family would fit an entierly different house the most.
Eugene seems to have a broken relationship with his own family and have cut all ties. He see himself entirely as a Myth. Which the rest of the family have no problem with, they never even speak of the father-side of Parcels family.

Eugene works in the Muggle Liaison Office, mostly with the control and separation of the magical and muggle world. When he was younger he dreamt of becoming a professional Quidditch player, a chaser to be more precise. While he doesn’t play anymore he still often uses his free time flying around Scotland on his broom. He is also a hard-necked supporter of the Montrose Magpies and often takes Parcel and Adger with him to watch games on the weekends.
Marjorie Narcissa Myth
Role: Mother

Born as an only child it was expected that Marjorie was to take over as the head of the Myth house. Her parents were therefore overjoyed when she married a man that rather wanted to take on their name then the other way around.
She is a very loving parent, and when Parcel gets older he will probably see her as a strong and independent mother figure. But that strong and independent will make it seem like she can be a real hard ass and as of now Parcel is more terrified of making her angry than to see her as the good mother she is.
She often speaks of how she expects Parcel to sometime bring back a wife who is just like herself, so that he can have someone to pull him by his ear when she’s to old to do it.

She is a stay at home mom, but probably spend a little more time in her alchemy lab then with her child.
Just like Parcels father, she too was a Hufflepuff in Hogwarts, and in fact, that is where Parcel’s parents met.

She is a very strong-willed person, and what she wants to do is usually what happens. It is not Eugene that is the man of the house, but that is how it always seem to be. While the men of the Myth family is seen as strong and independent wizards to the outside world, they are rather weak-willed when it come to their wife’s.
Adger Balgair Myth
Role: Grandfather

Adger might look very strict and reserved, but Parcel see him has nothing but a doting grandfather. He his sharp as a whip and have helped his community tirelessly through his many years living in Montrose. Some use to joke that he sometimes looks like a villain from children’s tales, but there is no one that actually has anything bad to say about him.
When he was younger he worked as an Auror for the Ministry and he was one of the wizards hunting down dark wizards after the last great wizarding war.
Through his years of service in the Ministry he gained the nickname ‘Fox’ or ‘The silver striped Fox of Montrose’. This for his quick wits and reasoning in his many dealings with dark wizards and beasts, which often times have led to missions being completed with far less casualties than anticipated, and also for the silver stripes that in an early age started to show in his hair.

He is a true Gryffindor at heart and always show bravery and determination in what he does.
He is also terrible at hiding his emotions and most people can always read what he’s feeling on his face. He might also be a bit of an old ‘pervert’ always trying to talk about girls with Parcel.
Sorcha Myth
Role: Grandmother

Sorcha is a ratter strict lady. When she went to Hogwarts she was put in the Ravenclaw house, and that is something you would be able to guess easily from how she behaves.
She is smart and well educated, both in the art of magic and the art of manners. When she was younger she worked as a potioneer, a brewer to be more specific. She supplied most of the medicines and daily necessity potions for the area around Montrose.
While she is retired now, she still tends a little garden with herbs and sometime assist Parcel’s mother with her Alchemy.
She also helps their community as a midwife, and that is work she say she never will retire from.

Otherwise she doesn’t make much out of her self and acts mostly as a silent support for the family. Parcel have also started to suspect that his mother learned most of what she knows about controlling his father from Sorcha, seeing as neither of the men in the house really are the ‘men’ in the house.
