Bloom Silverton is a petite young girl who has chestnut brown eyes that glisten when in direct contact with the sun. Her wavy, chocolate brown hair is often found tied back in a messy bun with whispy bangs that cascade to the side of her face. Her skin is pale, however, if given the chance in the sun, she can become a couple shades darker. She has a pointy, but small nose and has thin, butterfly shaped lips.

Bloom is the middle child of the Silverton family. She has two sisters, Claire Silverton who is the eldest, and Bella Silverton who is younger than her. She also has a baby brother who was adopted during the summer between Bloom's first and second year of Hogwarts named Austin. Bloom is the epitome of middle-child-syndrome. Her parents, Adam and Ashley Silverton, tend to give more attention to her older sister, Claire, for her reckless behavior, and to her younger sister, Bella, for being the youngest. When Bloom thought it couldn't be any worse, they adopted Austin as to help a family friend who was going through a rough patch. Adam and Ashley Silverton are both born and raised in England and are both of magic. Bloom paternal grandmother, Annie Silverton, was a muggle-born, which characterized their blood status to be half-blood.

Their financial stability is slightly unstable. Adam works in the Ministry by distributing letters onto owls in their Owlry (Mailman of sorts) and Ashley works as a house maid in various homes around the neighborhood. She typically cleans approximately 20 muggle homes within a week. Little do they know how "hands-on" she is with the cleaning while the muggle homeowners are out. While they do make some money, it is only enough to live comfortably, but not enough to have a luxury lifestyle.

As the "middle" child of the family, Bloom had to learn how to entertain herself. She often had some resentment with her sisters because of how much attention was given to them, so most of her time was keeping to herself and finding something to do such playing dolls on her own, listening to Wizard Rock, or even drawing. She wasn't very good at the latter, but she tried on occasion. This helped her become much more independent on her actions, as well as enhance her imagination. If she could, she would rather live in her own imagination rather than live in reality.

Her overactive imagination often leads Bloom to always try new things. As her way of entertaining herself, exploration is her go-to adventure. There are times where her imagination runs wild and her constant day dreaming keeps her mind active with thoughts that are both unique and fun. Bloom does have a tendency to care about what others think of her. She wants to be liked, or at least understood, by others and as a result, it takes her a bit of time to come out of her shell.

Her first use of accidental magic happened when she was six years old. Bloom was playing dolls with her older sister, Claire. Most of their doll collection was the same-- blonde hair and pretty outfits. Bloom's favorite, however, was the one doll that was different. It had pink hair with a bright silvery top and pants. When playing together, Claire grabbed the doll first and said that because she was older, she chooses which dolls to play with first. Bloom, irritated, screamed at Claire for taking her favorite doll and not sharing it. As a result, the pink haired doll's head popped off and rolled onto the floor. Bloom stopped screaming and looked at the doll and back at her older sister. Claire, who already received her magic in her earlier years smiled and ran to tell their parents who were proud of Bloom and her becoming of a magical person.

Years later, at eleven years old, Bloom received her letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As an October baby, she would be on the older end of students, but hopefully she will be able to connect and strive during her prime years at Hogwarts.

Bloom has heard so much talk about Hogwarts from family and others that she was excited to experience Hogwarts on her own. Entering the Great Hall, Bloom was able to see the grand celebration of the sorting hat. Hopping onto the stool, she was immediately sorted into Ravenclaw without the hat needing to touch her head. She skipped on over to the Ravenclaw table, eager to meet new friends.

Unfortunately, Slytherins decided to put a hair-loss jinx on some of the Ravenclaw's and Bloom was affected along with several other Ravenclaw's. Bloom, unable to get past the fact that her hair was falling out, heard a Slytherin first-year by the name of Marcus de Wynter know the cure for the jinx. Bloom made a deal to owe him not only one favor, but eleven favors to cure her of the jinx and the other Ravenclaw's affected. Immediately thereafter, another Slytherin, Erin Ryan, had wanted to talk to Bloom privately. Let's just say that Bloom's first day of her Hogwarts experience wasn't all rainbows and sunshine's! She's already in such a mess!

Bloom doesn't know what to think anymore. She talks privately with Erin only to find that she could be lying? Erin was filling her head with how much Marcus likes her and that the favors that Marcus will be giving her are going to be completely sexual. Bloom is nervous, but still curious about the whole thing. She begins to create imaginative feelings for Marcus only because she now thinks that he likes her thanks to Erin. Interrupting the girl talk, Marcus comes out of nowhere to give Bloom a vial that contains ten out of the eleven drops to cure the hair-loss jinx. Leaving the two Slytherins, Bloom takes the vial and gives it to the Ravenclaw table first before her. Eventually, she got the last of the cure from Marcus for herself.

She decides to go outside in the courtyard for the first time during her Hogwarts career. Before she stepped out in public, she took a sip of the potion and could feel her scalp burning. Her hair grew back to what it originally was before the jinx. Although, there was a slight change. Her hair happened to be a bit more shiny than before. That didn't bother her. As she ventured outside, she saw a Hufflepuff get tackled down by three students who seemed to be late for class. Bloom grabbed a book closest to her that flew out of his hands and made her way to the Hufflepuff. Introducing himself as Reid Kovacs, Bloom and Reid began to have deep conversations and over time, Bloom began to fall for him. They made a plan to go to the Great Lake in two days time to swim as an adventure.

Later on, Bloom goes to her dormitory named Rowena Ravenclaw and meets her four other dorm mates: Fay Nyxe, Artic Frost, Andrea Baynes and Elizabeth Goldeen. They were all very much excited to meet each other, well, it took Elizabeth a bit. But overall, they all had fun and even discussed about decorating their rooms.

The next day, Bloom gossips with the other Ravenclaw's in the corridor. They were talking about Charms and all the homework that they needed to finish. Luckily, Bloom, who doesn't want to study, was interrupted with a bathroom call. She had to find a restroom and quick. She made her way down the corridor and to the right and found a bathroom. She walked in and saw that it was most likely abandoned. That did not stop Bloom. She went to the restroom and when she was finished, she heard a scream outside in the corridor. She finished her business and made her way to the screaming student. It happened to be a Hufflepuff, Serena Towers. Bloom grabbed her and took her into the bathroom to run her hand, which she happened to burn from hot tea, in room temperature water under the sink. Both girls began to get to know each other, and still excited from meeting Reid the day before, Bloom wondered if Serena knew more about him.

It was then the next day, the day Bloom was looking forward to. She studied for most of the day in the Study Room, where she met another Slytherin, Destrian Dayne. He knocked into her and got angry that she stopped in the middle of the room. Bloom decided to sit with him and tell him that he needed class as a Slytherin. It all backfired and they became friends, studying for Charms and other classes.

Leaving the study a bit early, Bloom went back to her dorm to get ready. She decided to wear a bathing suit underneath her uniform, ready for swimming. It was nearing the time they decided upon and Bloom raced down carefully to the Great Lake. When she got there, Reid was not there yet. She decided to spend some time with herself, feeling excited to see him. When he did come, she got very excited. It wasn't until another Ravenclaw, Dymphna Teague, joined them. Bloom was a little disappointed, but she was also happy to have met someone else from her house and she was also happy to be invited to a study group that also involved Reid.

The next early evening, Bloom goes to the Owlery to send mail to her family. She wanted them to know how much fun she was having. As she made her way to the west tower from her dormitory, she saw Reid on the window pane, looking out towards the Forbidden Forest. Bloom joined him and they had a wonderful conversion, however, Bloom's feelings got a hold of her. She confessed her liking him and he rejected her saying that he was not looking for a relationship. Bloom, holding a brave face, apologized. Reid wanted to stay as friends, but Bloom needed some time to herself.

Soon after, she left and went straight to her dormitory. Her brave face broke down and resulted in a complete break down that exhausted her, putting her to sleep for the night. Bloom woke up early in the morning after passing out from heartache. She told Reid that she liked him and he rejected her on the spot. She decided that staying in doors was not an option and she left the castle to the Great Lake where she sulked to herself. Luckily, her sulking was interrupted with a playful Gryffindor by the name of Ike Corbec.

Feeling only slightly better after spending time with Ike, Bloom was still a little down in the dumps. It had only been a full day since she had told Reid that she liked him and he rejected her. Bloom, in the middle of crying, is interrupted by an outgoing and friendly Ravenclaw first-year, Felicity Greenwich.  Bloom, often reminded of her sister through Felicity's upbeat personality, felt so much better about her decision to tell Reid and had her heart mended. She was glad to not only meet a friend, but perhaps a friend that she could see herself grow through Hogwarts with. Bloom and Felicity decided to meet the next morning in the library as Felicity shared with Bloom, having strong feelings of friendship with Bloom, about her visions and dreams. The next day, they were to research about them.

Bloom, finally feeling better, was still unable to sleep. She decided to stay in the common room throughout late at night near the fireplace. She then got a little enchanted note in the shape of a butterfly heading in her direction. Bloom read the note and was told that she earned the title of Ravenclaw Prefect. Unsure of how she could deserve such a title, she also met (by chance) her partner, Ben Eckendrode, who came into the common room late at night. They both got to know each other and Bloom began to have some feelings for him.

The next morning, Bloom meets Felicity Greenwich at the library. She made sure that they would be in the corner near the old books as she shared with her about the dreams or visions that she may be having. Off the corner of Bloom's eye, she see's Reid Kovacs come their way and Bloom freaked out and mentioned in earshot to Reid that she made Prefect and that she had a date with Ben Eckendrode. She thought that it would make Reid jealous, but it wasn't so. Luckily, though, Reid and Bloom talked to each other and forgave each other about the night in the Owlery. They are hopefully to become the best of friends with one another. Finally mending with one another, Bloom and Reid made their way to Felicity where they began to ask the Librarian about a book Bloom saw that disappeared instantly as if it was alive, along with other books on Divination.

Bloom and Ben Eckenrode had their first night doing their rounds and at first it became a bit awkward in the beginning. Apparently, Felicity had told Ben about the date that Bloom forgot to tell her it was fake. Thankfully, Ben was understanding and in fact, it made Bloom want to share her feelings for Ben. Ben needed to walk away for a minute and it made Bloom feel as though she was rejected once more, but then Ben ran back to Bloom and they had their first kiss... Ever. Although awkward, they were happy to have found each other. Special thanks to the Hogwarts staff.

As time progressed, Ben had lost his Prefect badge as they were an item and Bloom was asked to step down as she had no time for her studies. Her grades were slowly decreasing and her professors found that it would be best for her to become a Prefect another time when her grades would improve. In addition, Bloom focused a lot of her time on her studies that she had not seen Ben for quite awhile. Wondering what he is up to as they are still a thing, she thinks about him and wonders if he just needed some space. Who knows...?

Bloom entered her second year with stress. Her family, whom are socioeconomically poor had added another bundle of joy into their family, a little boy named Austin. They adopted him without any reason to her and her two sisters, Bella and Claire. While any family would be happy to have a new addition to their family, Bloom was secretly angry. She already did not get the attention from her parents that now she is even more invisible with the sighting of a baby around the house. Luckily, she only had a month to handle the situation before making her way back to Hogwarts for her second year.

Upon entering, Bloom went to the Great Hall where she caught up with her former crush and best friend, Reid Kovacs. It was an instant that Bloom realized that she did not like him the same way anymore. In a way she was sad, but realistically, she was more than pleased as now she could have a best friend to talk to with ease. During conversation, she learned how excited he was to join the Quidditch team. It all of a sudden made Bloom wonder about what she wanted to do with her year. Did she want to join Quidditch? No. Did she want to excel at something in a class? Not quite. It then dawned on Bloom... What did she want to do when she got older? If she did not have the passion now, would she have the passion later?

Putting such thoughts on the back-burner, Bloom decided to go for a walk late at night. She figured the best place to not get caught was in the library-- for what professor would want to catch their students being studious? Bloom, believing that she was more or less alone saw a familiar figure in the shadows. It was none other than Ben Eckenrode, her ex-boyfriend. Technically, they were still together, but the fact that he disappeared on her for months at a time with no reason made their relationship automatically split. When Bloom saw Ben, she couldn't help but to feel mixed emotions: anger, disappointment, sadness, and love. In a way, her confrontation with him made everything feel right back in place, until he mentioned that he was the dangerous student who wore the mask. Bloom, shocked, did not know what to do. On one hand, she could stay with him and ignore his dangerous way while also being in danger, or on the other hand, she could stay away from him overall and be safe. She chose the latter. Though it may be a decision she will regret.

September came and left and the October air became in season. This year, Hogwarts hosted an Oktoberfest event for all students to participate in. Relating to the infamous holiday, Halloween, students were invited to carve pumpkins as a contest, taste different varieties of butterbeer and even concoct their own butterbeer taste, and join a baking competition inspired by fall foods! Bloom participated in as much as she could and met a few friends along the way: Amanda Campbell and Elijah Huang. Both seemed extremely nice and she hoped to run into them again in the near future.

Her Oktoberfest was unimaginably fun. With the first couple of events that Bloom joined, she was excited to go for the Baking Competition where she would have to be paired up with someone else. Bloom, getting there on time happened to be first. She made her way to one of the stations, waiting for someone to be her partner. With much shock, the next person who walked in was Ben. Bloom's heart stopped. She wondered if he was going to go to a new station or join her. If he joined her, what would she say? The latter was chosen and Ben made his way to Bloom asking to be her partner. The anger inside her wanted to say no, but her regret for not being with him and still being in love with him voiced a yes. Throughout their baking, Bloom realized how much she wanted to be with him, though, she did not have the guts to tell him. She assumed that maybe if she gave non-verbal hints, he would catch on. It was unlikely so. It became an uncomfortable two hours being at his side without being able to speak her mind.

That same day, later in the evening, Bloom decided to ease her mind with a sense of adventure. She was thinking of inviting Reid, but she felt as though it was best for her to get some alone time. Bloom felt it was necessary to get some fresh air and made her way to the lake near the school. When she got there, she sat on a large rock and looked across the beautiful and calm lake. Zoned out, she did not know that a Gryffindor was nearby, Eris Fawley. When they made their acquaintence, Bloom truly enjoyed Fawley's company and immediately kicked into adventure asking if she wanted to go swim in the lake. Both the girls went in, swimming in the cold water with laughter. Little did both of them know that there were two Prefects, Kaegen Deathmote and Luna Arelius along with another student hiding in the trees, Elena Jones.

When Eris and Bloom got caught, Bloom tried to swim back to shore, but cut her foot in the process. Going underwater, she grabbed what happened to be an ancient-looking hand mirror with a sapphire handle. Amazed at what a find in the shallow end of the lake, they all look to figure out what it could be. Was it magical or was it just a mirror that someone littered into the body of water?
