Personality: Odette isn't shy, she's cautious and nervous around other people. She prefers books over people most of the time. She's determined, dedicated and stubborn. She thinks too much and always expects the worst to happen. She's clumsy and can be a bit innocent at times. She's defensive over the things she loves and although she may be cautious and quiet, she refuses to be a doormat. She's also a suffer in silence kind of person and tends to observe more than interact.

Odette grew up around magic because she's a pure-blood. But when she discovered her magic, she had been playing with her kitten in her room, on her bed. Her kitten, Po, had fallen and in panic, she had reached for him. She missed. Po broke his leg and Odette had quickly found a small spell that would heal him. But she didn't know until later that when she healed him, it gave them the power to communicate with each other telepathically. Same happened when she healed her horse, Gennie.

Odette Haven was originally Genevieve Lockwood. Her birth mother died giving birth to her and her father, well, they say he died of grief but the young girl isn't sure if she believes that or not. She was bullied in her old-school for being adopted. People made fun of her parents’ death so Odette mostly sticks to herself. Both of her birth parents were pure-blood Ravenclaws.

She was adopted by the Haven family when she was eight months old and they changed her name from Genevieve Rose Lockwood to Odette Rose Lockwood Haven. She has three younger cousins: Lucien, Aravis and Maven. Aravis is only eight days younger than Odette and Lucien is a day older than Aravis.

Arthur and Farrah, her adopted parents, are not very kind to her. They like to tell her that she will never be as good as Aravis, their niece. They constantly point out her mistakes and sometimes regret ever adopting her. This has made her really independent and closed off.

Odette is not very good at making friends and always feels like she has a spell on her that makes people stay away. She doesn't feel very pretty and often wishes someone will love her one day.

She's extremely clumsy and tends to get lost in her own head sometimes. She tries to treat others kindly because that's how she wants to be treated. So far at Hogwarts, no one has been mean to her. She's insecure with herself and doesn't really look like a member of the Haven/Escanora family but she tries not to let that get to her. She would really like to know more about her birth parents and where she really came from.
