Backstory
Midas Jones, born into a wealthy wizarding family on August 13th, 2006, has always had a comfortable and relatively easy-going lifestyle. His parents, often always away from home because they worked at the Ministry. For example, he was "adopted" by his caretaker since his parents often spent weeks away from their home. Midas didn't have a perfect childhood, but he thought that it was far more preferable than being stuck as a muggle. He barely went to school - rather, he had private tutors and such. He always had the things he wanted, whether it be a certain toy or a new book in particular. His parents barely visited him, and thus he distanced himself from them. He made friends with animals rather than humans and has a large garden in his yard which all kinds of animals live, magical or not. His lack of interaction with humans resulted in him being extremely shy in the company of people, and he much rather prefers the company of animals.

Appearance

Midas is a thin boy, and is a bit taller than the average height for his age, being 4’10. His eyes are light blue, and his hair is dark brown. His skin is peach. He prefers collared shirts when attempting to blend in with Muggles, and likes wearing dark-colored robes. He keeps his hair messy, yet people often claim this clashes with his personality.

Personality

Midas is usually extremely shy when faced with new people since he has spent most of his life in the company of animals. He likes to listen to music, and he also enjoys playing the piano. He fears most species of bugs/insects, like spiders. However, he likes all other kinds of animals, especially cats. His favorite book is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He can be at times stubborn but has a moral code he sticks to. However, he does hold grudges against certain people and has made quite a few enemies with other wealthy children. He is quite intelligent and is usually calm and collected. However, when he is in a bad mood, which also rarely happens, he is quick to make remarks back to others. He values his friends far more than anything else, even if most of them are animals, and is extremely loyal. However, his shyness leads some people to believe that he doesn't pay attention to them or is listening.
