Lorelai's mother, Jeanne was born into a aristocratic pureblood-wizard family in France. Her family became ashamed of her however, when they found our she was a squib, and kicked her out of the house at 16. She persisted however and decided to move to England, to start anew. Lorelai's mother got a muggle job in London where she lived for many years. She had planned to leave the wizarding world behind forever until she met Lorelai's father, who happened to be a wizard. They fell in love and he promised to marry her. Soon after they became engaged however, Jeanne became pregnant, and he decided to abandon her, for whatever reason. Jeanne was left to raise Lorelai on her own. She decided to raise her daughter without magic, assuming she wouldn't be magical like her.

Despite her best efforts, the Brunelles have been struggling financially. They have an extremely strong bond together. Lorelai knows little of her father, other than that he was a wizard, and English. She also learned his surname, Quinn and his house Gyffindor like her.Her mother doesn't want to relive the painful memories. Lorelai hopes to learn more about him though, and possibly one day meet him, even if her mother discourages it.

Lorelai went to muggle school until she got into Hogwarts. She got bullied a bit, but it didn't She was extremely happy to find out that she would be going to Hogwarts. She didn't even know magic existed until that letter came through her window. It all came as a big surprise, although a welcome one.


Lorelai is quite the little troublemaker. With little regards to school rules and an easy-going attitude, it’s easy to get dragged into some ridiculous adventure with this girl. She is always happy to help a friend in need, whether they want it or not. She sometimes gets lost in her own thoughts, becoming oblivious to the world around her. She tried to be studious for awhile but got bored with that quickly. After all, it's way more fun to go explore the school grounds!

Lorelai has a passion for the dangerous. She especially loves the magical animals that earn themselves an XXXXX rating. She’s the kind of person to walk into a dragon’s lair just out of curiosity. Surely that is how she will die, although it never seems to bother her. She’s found herself to be very knowledgeable about magical creatures, reading every book she could find in the Hogwarts library on the topic.


Lorelai has wavy black hair that goes a little past her shoulders. She tends to keep it neat, but when she's stressed it looks like a rats nest. She has extremely pale skin, her mother jokingly said she looked like a vampire. Lorelai didn't appreciate this. Her eyes are a hazel color. Lorelai is about 4'9, but hopes to get taller.
