Dawn Flourish was raised by her father, Even Flourish, as her mother, Lucille Flourish had passed away when Dawn was 2 years old. She was born on the 21st of February, 2007. Her father being a wizard and her mother being a muggle made Dawn a half-blood. She learnt since she was young that she wasn't like the 'others' in her school and was told to protect this from others.
Among the many reasons, Dawn wasn't home schooled because her father worked. By the age of 6, Dawn was a bubbly little girl, getting this from her deceased mother, with much to share. Yet many children thought she was odd and avoided her much to her surprise. She had a childhood friend named Kyle, who seemed just as odd as her, but as far as Dawn knew, was a muggle. Together the friends took a liking to drawing and reading.
Dawn was told many times by her father, stories of Hogwarts and when she saw her father's smile, while talking of it, she was enthusiastic to meet many others just like herself. The year she received a letter to Hogwarts, she she showed her father with an eager smile. But her father didn't like the idea as much as Dawn, even though he himself had gone there for study. Eventually, Dawn managed to get her approval from her father and arrived at Hogwarts.

Family & Outside Of Hogwarts:
Even Flourish- Dawns father, in which Dawn looks up to and loves with all her heart. He is a pure-blood wizard and Dawn's only family. Her father is protective and is caring towards Dawn.
Lucille Flourish- Dawn's deceased mother whom Dawn loves yet hardly remembers. Dawn keeps a photo of her mother on her bedside table at all times. Her mother passed away when Dawn was two, from a sickness.
Kyle- Dawn's childhood friend whom Dawn would hangout with in her free time. Together the friends would plot mischief, explore and make use of their imagination. Both children took a great liking to reading and sketching. Kyle didn't like the idea that Dawn was going to boarding school for many years, but they both made a pledge to stay friends against all odds.

Encounters:
Alina Ambrosia: A blond girl with a bubbly personality and knack for talking. Dawn met Alina near the Great Lake, caught in the water and in the Corridors, while lost in the never ending hallways. Both meetings seem to have embarrassing beginnings.
Hunter Keith: Yet another awkward encounter with a boy with wavy brown hair and an energetic personality. Dawn met Keith in the Library, when she accidentally knocked over his books and added furthermore embarrassment by speaking loudly.
