First Instance of Magic Reducio [font=century gothic]The first time Haley realised she was different was when she was four. This was the first time she used magic in her life. She was in kindergarten in Dublin during the day, it was a warm summer day and she was lying in the middle of a meadow full of little flowers. While she was lying there looking at the flowers, she noticed a daisy that was so much bigger than all the others around it. A boy from kindergarten noticed Haley looking at the flower, he came up to her, trampled the daisy and ran away laughing. Sadly, the little red-haired girl looked at the destroyed flower. At that moment, she wished for nothing more than for it to stand upright again, in its former glory. While young Haley was lost in her thoughts, she almost didn't notice how the daisy slowly stood up again and her wish came true. From that day on, unusual things happened more and more often. Things that had to do with Haley's magic and soon no longer went unnoticed. [/font]

Backstory Reducio [font=century gothic]It was a warm summer day back in 2009 in Dublin when Haley was born. The young Rose spent the first five years of her life with her parents in Ireland, where she grew up until they finally moved to London - back to her mother's family. Haley was already 6 years old when she first heard about witches and wizards. When the gates to the magical world she belonged to were opened to her. From that day on, she never wasted a day learning anything new about this world. She listened to every single story her mother told her and at every opportunity she read a book that told her more about the magical world. About Hogwarts, about history, about great witches and wizards. Her mother - Stephanie Rose - herself went to Hogwarts and was in Ravenclaw, but her father - David Rose - was a Muggle. With him, her mother had broken the pureblood line of the Rose family, which Haley was to learn later. Meanwhile, her mother worked as an Obliviator and her father was a doctor in the Muggle world. As soon as Haley found out about Hogwarts, she read the history of Hogwarts day and night. She knew she wouldn't be a Ravenclaw and couldn't wait to finally get her letter and find out which house she would once belong to. She had definitely developed a preference for Gryffindor and Slytherin and while she is the first of the Rose family to be sorted into Gryffindor, one could almost say that the preference for Slytherin is in her genes. While Haley knew little about her family, she began to learn more and more during her time. For what she didn't know was that the Rose family was a well-known pureblood family and all but her mother and Haley were in Slytherin. But what Haley also didn't know was that there were times when the Rose family placed a high value on pureblood. Part of the family still did and that was exactly why her mother went to Dublin with her father at the time - due to the fact that Stephanie was in a relationship with a Muggle, she was despised by the family. The pain and the experience still runs deep today, but Haley's mother readmitted to her family, she gave her mother a chance, who had separated from her husband in the meantime. Her ex-husband Godric still followed the same principles and was a lot darker than one might expect. But Cecilia had changed, she wanted to be part of her daughter's life again and so it happened that the three of them moved from Dublin to London. [/font]

Appearance Reducio [font=century gothic]Haley has the long, curly red hair that was just so common in her father's side of the family's genes. Her face is adorned with freckles, big green eyes, a small snub nose and a pouty mouth. Haley has always been taller than others her age, she is quite thin but athletically built and as she gets older her feminine curves become more pronounced. [/font]

Personality Reducio [font=century gothic]Haley has a big heart and a great urge to help others when they need it. Always an emotional child, she has a lot of empathy and almost seemed to take in the feelings of others, be it sadness or joy. She is a joyful nature, always laughing, up for any fun and very loving. Alongside this, Haley is honest, even if it's not always the truth anyone wants to hear. But she can also be hot-tempered and sassy, that should never be forgotten. She stands up for herself and her friends and doesn't shy away from others. But the older Haley gets, the more she learns about her family and the more bad experiences she has to go through, another side of her emerges. A kind of dark side that arises in her and is just waiting to be discovered by her. [/font]
