◈Childhood◈

Robyn was born to Amelie and Oliver Finley in London, England. Her mother is a full-blooded Veela who ended up marrying a wizard against all of her families wishes. She grew up with a brother named Felix who is two years her elder. Felix, who is also half-Veela became his mother's fascination in being able to produce a male Veela, even if he was only half-blooded, rather than a Vodyanoy. While her mother was quite attentive, throughout her growing up Amelie always spent more time with Felix due to the fascination. One of the things her mom hated most about Robyn was her warm brown eyes that she received from her father, rather than the typical green or blue.

This normally left Robyn with more attention at all times being desired. Since this attention loss started off quite young her first sign of magic was actually a plate being sent across the room in an attempt to get her mother's attention after putting peas on Robyn's plate, which she detested at the time. Her brother tried to make up for the time lost throughout their childhood, but eventually was sent off to Hogwarts when it came to his coming of age. This left Robyn with a mother that mostly longed for Felix to come back, to show Robyn what a child should act like, what a half-Veela should be.

◈Hogwarts◈

Eventually, Robyn's time came to attend Hogwarts where she gladly let herself get lost. Perhaps a bit too lost. She continued to be more of a background classmate than anything, letting others take the spotlight that she didn't feel like she quite deserved. If she did get the spotlight, she was worried that it was because of her half-Veela side charming people into paying attention to her. Even though she was sorted into Gryffindor who seemed to have a reputation for spotlight stealing. Instead, she enjoyed spending her time nestled within a corner of the library reading about the characters who's worlds seemed to revolve around specifically them. It gave her a fantastical escape that she couldn't get enough of. Outside of performing her schoolwork and attending classes, of course. It was at Hogwarts where she also learned a spell to charm her hair, and as soon as she learned her icy blonde hair was continually charmed to be a ginger, to look like her father.

Despite keeping to herself for fear of accidentally charming people to like her, she did have friends. Most of her time was spent with them, who valued the volumes that were allowed to them at the brilliant school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It came as no surprise when she ended up pursuing a career working in various wizardry libraries after her graduation, feeling comfortable and safe within the walls and stacks of knowledge. Some might say she should've been sorted into Ravenclaw, she thinks it's just as brave to let herself be a secondary character in her own life until it's her time to become the main character.

◈Adulthood◈

Her coming of age, at the ripe age of 27, seemed to come in the form of a job offering at Hogwarts. It seemed like a no-brainer to return to the walls that comforted her during the turbulent times of adolescence and learning how to grow up. To help others with the same issues, and always be there to offer a handy book to help them through the situation. If all else failed, a private corner in the back to escape and breathe... at least until they needed to return to the world of non-fiction.

Robyn stands a tad tall at 5'9", often she can be seen in flat footed shoes to avoid being unnecessarily taller than those around her. Her eyes are a warm honey brown that hold a compassion and kindness. Or intense anxiety, depends on what's happening. While she is naturally a blonde due to her half-Veela heritage, she uses the hair-coloring charm to change it to be a lovely ginger red. Her wavy hair reaches about shoulder height and will often be left down or only half up.

She has endless freckles covering her from head to toe, showing a great amount of time spent outdoors in an act of defiance to mar the beautiful pale skin her mother so desperately desires to represent her Veela genetics. Her resting face usually seems calm at best and disinterested at worst. She's not someone that is terribly approachable, but not terrifying in general. She could be mistaken for a seventh year for her looks despite being a solid 27 years old, baby face had stayed with her long and didn't seem to be leaving anytime soon much to her dismay.

◈In the Library◈

Robyn is calm, collected, eager to assist in the library. It's a place of great comfort and familiarity which puts her at ease. She walks with a purpose and confidence, her strides long and proud. A bright smile is usually on her face as she greets students and helps them at the desk. The only time she would really get flustered is if one of her coworkers were to join her in her sacred place. While she is confident that she can handle a library by herself and two house elves, she is still nervous of brutally failing the school that grew her.

◈Outside of the Library◈

If she is found outside of the library, which is incredibly rare, she is withdrawn and anxious. Her eyes nervously flitting between people and attempting to keep track of everything going on around her in case she needs to jump into a conversation or if she needs to bolt through the nearest exit. While she has social skills, they melt away in group situations, or places where she feels out of control of the environment. Over time, she'll become more comfortable in the castle and get her bearings socially. But for now, she's an anxious mess.

If there is a trill ringing out through the library, it's the dearest owl Artemis just making sure everyone knows that she's there.
