History
Mr. Albert Mattix, Father of Gabriel, is Chief Curse-Breaker of Gringotts. He works both inside of the bank and inside tombs and other places where curses can exist. He is Gringotts’s most senior Curse-Breaker, and by that, they mean the best. He has been very influential in Gabriel’s childhood, as it is through him that Gabriel learned of his Family History, Values, and Ring. Gabriel was handed possession of the Mattix Family Ring and became Heir to the Mattix Vault and whatever lay inside of there on his eighth birthday, just as his father and grandfather and great-grandfather(and so on) had. Albert Mattix attended Hogwarts and was in Griffindor.
Mrs. Ginerva Mattix, Mother to Gabriel, works within the Ministry(Gabriel does not know exactly what it is that she does within the Ministry, nor does he ask). Her maiden name is MacArthur. She has been a kind and caring mother, there for when he needed her and even when he did not think that she was necessary for the task. She taught Gabriel all about etiquette and honor and even how to read. It is from her that Gabriel has obtained his love of learning and reading. Ginerva Mattix also went through Griffindor.
Mr. Ryan Mattix, Gabriel’s older brother works for the Ministry. He is one of a brand new “batch” of Aurors, and is very excited about his career.
Gabriel Mattix, is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Mattix, and is in his first year at Hogwarts. He is in the Ravenclaw House. He has a knack for spellwork of any kind, and a strange affinity for anything magical that can be seen when one is around him long enough.

Family History
This is the Family Crest, with it being so for centuries. It consists of a golden Phoenix being reborn, on a Blue and Red background.
Family Lore has it that the Mattix Family Line is filled with Dragonhunters and Spell Creators and High Ranking Authority Figures(ancient times only) However, Lore has it that Gabriel’s great-great-great-great-great grandfather Lord Arthur Mattix was the very first wizard to befriend and even start domesticating a Phoenix. Thus, the Family Crest...
But this is not true, or is it?

Personality & Traits
• Mischievous ~ Gabriel is mischievous in a good way — he thinks outside of the box. He is well known for using unorthodox methods to achieve victory, all while adhering to the rules.
• Brave ~ Gabriel is willing to put his life on the line if it means saving one of his friends or family. But he would probably hesitate a bit while thinking about how he should save them...
• Loyal ~ Gabriel is loyal, as in a good friend,to all who show him respect. However, he is extremely loyal to what he believes to be right.
• Honorable ~ From a young age Gabriel’s parents have instilled a sense of personal and family honor and how to defend it.
• Quick Learner ~ This is an unorthodox trait but Gabriel expresses it through his need for knowledge but with his time being so short.(to practice and learn and whatnot).
• Clumsy ~ Gabriel is clumsy in everything but magic. He will trip and stumble, but his spells will hit their marks...
• Affinity for Magic ~ Gabriel has always had, and always will, have a strong grasp of magic. When he was young he could perform random spells at inopportune times such as in front of a Ministry Official, who noticing Gabriel’s peculiar ability, kept it in mind. When Gabriel was ten, that very same official was able to gain permission for Gabriel to use a wand, but only when on business trips with his father, as it would keep him safer and Gabriel was already showing enough proficiency with magic to be deemed not harmful to others

Family Pet
Felix was the Family Owl, he was a Snowy Owl.
When he went with Albert Mattix to a tomb(location classified) and accidentally tripped a curse, transfiguring Felix permenantly from an owl into gyrfalcon. He still acts just like an owl, and even carries letter and other forms of mail like an owl.
