Alina was the second born child of Alec Ambrosia, and Serena Ambrosia (nee Winters). She was born August 1st, 2006, during a troubling tropical storm on the Island of Cyprus. Her mother, superstitious as she was, knew this was a good sign. It meant that she would be born with strong magical powers. She was born during the bright hours of August 1st, screaming and crying and full of life. A girl. Her parents couldn't be more proud. Having one of each had been one of their discussions for years.

Alina grew up to be a happy child. Living near the Mediterranean had turned her skin to a dark tan, with her hair bleached near white with the sun. She flocked to the water, loving every moment she could spend there. Her brother, Leo, would watch carefully over her, feeling a certain closeness to his baby sister. He loved her to pieces and she him.

When Leo was fifteen, he killed himself. It was speculated that it was due to depression or self-esteem issues. But it had damaged the family beyond belief. Alina's parents had drifted apart after years of arguing, leaving Alina to fend and grow by herself. Her mother grew cold and restless, pushing more and more of her Slytherin prejudices on her. Her father tried to counteract the influences but failed miserably.

When she turned 11, Alina waited patiently for her letter, if only to get away from all this.

Mardella Bram Alina meets her at the Gryffindor table after a crazy day of classes. She loves how curly Mardella's hair is, and thinks her name is beautiful. Could this be the start of a friendship?

Kaegan Deathmote: A boy Alina spots gathering up flowers. If that doesn't put him in her good books, what would? A fellow flower lover she thinks! He's so polite, but quiet. Maybe a little distant. Could be because they just met.

Dawn Flourish: A lovely girl that Alina keeps seeming to bump into. From getting lost in corridors to dragging the poor girl into the water with her. Hopefully Alina can stop making this poor girls life so hard.


Mae Winters: A girl Alina decided to meet up with after chatting over Owls. They have a lot in common!

Alice Swan: Alina thinks that this girl has a seriously talent in art. Maybe she can convince Alice to teach her!
