ReducioEvelyn Bailey is a from a pure-blood family. She was born in England and hasn’t moved ever since. Evelyn is an only child. She lives in a larger than the average house on top of a hill, overlooking a quiet Muggle neighborhood.
She was born on May 16, 2009. She lives with her mother, Amelia, and her father, James. They raised her to be a blood purist, under the veil of a "neutral family". Their words are forever rooted in Evelyn's mind and heart, as she is very loyal to her parents. Her mother's younger sister, her aunt June, was a Metamorphagus. Evelyn is interested in Metamorphism, but Aunt June rarely does it in front of the family, since using it for practical jokes is frowned upon.
They are not particularly Slytherin-crazy, but they believe Slytherin to be the best house. Since her father's sister, her Aunt Jessica, was Ravenclaw, no one really minds Ravenclaws. Gryffindors are considered reckless and brash, and Hufflepuffs... let's just say that they are frowned upon... greatly.
She likes cats and is fascinated with snakes. When she was little, Evelyn had a cat named Amber, and her grandfather has a snake named Noctis. Amber was white with golden eyes, and Noctis is very dark green with dark golden eyes and black markings.
Her first encounter with accidental magic was when she was five - her neighbor had stolen her stuffed cat and since she had been furious, one of the bushes on said neighbor's lawn went up in flames.
Evelyn has a fear of bugs, particularly moths, but she prefers to keep that information under heavy wraps. As much as possible. However, there is one exception - she likes butterflies. (She is also very private with this information.) She is also afraid of failing her classes since that would mean disappointing her parents. Her fear of insects triggered the next appearance of accidental magic - an insect crawled up her arm and Evelyn made a gust of wind to blow the insect away.
Personality:
ReducioShe leans more towards the introvert end of the spectrum and takes some time to open up to others. She can be snappy and moody sometimes, but she is also determined and loyal to anyone that has proved themselves to her. That loyalty and determination are ultimately what landed her in Hufflepuff, although it was unexpected. She is very defensive and doesn't want to seem weak in front of anyone. She is also driven by a desire to please her parents.
Looks:
ReducioEvelyn has caramel brown hair that reaches a little below her shoulders and cyan blue eyes. She also has a small lock of blonde hair. She has a side bang that she would normally tuck behind her ear. She is a little taller than average, but not enough to attract attention. She is naturally very pretty, but she doesn't care for makeup, gossip, or "girly stuff".
