History: Paisley was born in the bustling city center of London to a Wizard father and a Muggle mother. Her father works in the Ministry of Magic in the International Magical Office of Law and her mother works as a pastry chef. The couple were complete opposites, her father gentle and methodical and her mother a passionate whirlwind. Within their family it was quite the scandal for her father to marry a muggle, considering his pure-blood heritage. That being said, no love was lost between them and they went on to have two children. Paisley's older brother, Percival, was a 'squib' and was a small source of contention between the two siblings. They loved each other, but as soon as Paisley had her first magical incident at the age of 5 (accidentally turning their cat Grimsby a peculiar shade of indigo), Percival felt like he'd been cheated. The once incredibly close children formed a distance between them, which broke her heart.

As expected, on her 11th birthday she received an invitation to Hogwarts. She'd bid farewell to her mother and brother and boarded the train at the platform after setting up a place to meet her father to acquire her school supplies. He'd insisted she ride the train to 'get the experience' and 'meet new friends'. She'd just nodded in agreement. They'd gotten her supplies, stopped in at the leaky cauldron for lunch, then parted ways. Everything was going to plan, until it wasn't. Her father had been a Ravenclaw as had so many witches and wizards on his side, so naturally she'd expected to be sorted into Ravenclaw. It had come as a complete shock when the sorting hat screeched out her admittance into Slytherin. She'd sat down with her new housemates, receiving several pats on the back and congratulations which she accepted with simple nods. She wondered, what other surprises did her Hogwarts experience have in store for her?
