Lovely Creature: Effect: You are very distracting to look at. This increases the Control DC of spells in duels and adventures by +2 as well as the DC for finding things in adventures or the DC for finding the snitch in a game of Quidditch. This ability does not stack.

In Quidditch: The Lovely Creature ability in Quidditch matches only affects the snitch search DC for the opponent team.

History/Background Story

Aurelia Roberts was born on a sunny August 1st in Godric's Hollow England as the third child to Julia Roberts and Hubert Roberts. She and her two older brothers were always encouraged to explore and be curious which Aurelia still loves to do. They grew up in a huge house with a massive backyard and a lot of freedom. Her oldest brother Ben is 4 years older than Aurelia and was sorted into Ravenclaw. He is extremely smart and logical. He takes care of Aurelia when she most needs it and is very protective of her. Her other brother Jack is a Slytherin and only 3 years older. He was more of the selfish type and until Hogwarts liked to spend his time alone reading a book. Jack is excellent at Quidditch and a great Quidditch buddy for Aurelia. Growing up in a magical household, magic always fascinated Aurelia much. Since she heard about Hogwarts from Ben, she has dreamed of the day when she would finally receive her letter. She enjoyed watching her parents perform magic, even if it was a simple spell like the levitation charm. Her parents are very fond of Muggles and invite the next-door neighbors over for a Barbeque every Sunday. The neighbor's son Thomas was Aurelia's childhood friend and they spent countless hours playing together although Aurelia always wished that she could show him magic, as she was sure he would enjoy it very much. Thomas and Aurelia also went to the same muggle school, where they would cheat on math tests together and copy each others homework. Aurelia was never top of the class, she had rather average marks but enjoyed her time there nonetheless.

Aurelia remembers clearly the day when she first showed signs of magic. She was around 8, and it was a hot summer day shortly after her birthday. Aurelia was sent to do the dishes, as to "not become lazy just because there is magic" as her mother would say. For young Aurelia, it seemed like the piles of cups, silverware, and plates would never end and in her anger, she made lily flowers grow out of the foaming water. Her parents were very proud and out of her and her brothers, she was the youngest when she first showed signs of magic.

But Aurelia's most memorable day was the day she received her Hogwarts letter. She was playing with her brother Jack outside, when she heard the swoop of an owl, and saw a huge barn owl fly through the window with three thick envelopes clasped in its claws. Seconds later her brother Ben ran out of the house yelling: "Auri! (Aurelia's nickname) Your letter arrived!". Aurelia teared up out of happiness and she remembers this as the happiest moment of her life.

Aurelia's most noticeable feature is her hair that is dyed blue at the ends, which she got permission to do when she received her Hogwarts letter. Her wavy hair is medium length and Aurelia likes to have it loose or tied up in a high ponytail with two strands framing her face. She has a sporty build, from her mother who is a Quidditch player. Aurelia is around average height and has bright blue eyes that have a dreamy look about them. Aurelia is usually wearing her school robes or the Gryffindor uniform and ties her hair up with a Gryffindor scrunchie.

Aurelia likes to be around people and also likes attention. If she doesn't have enough social interaction she gets depressed and spends her time taking walks. She will do anything to protect someone that is close to her and is very loyal to her friends. She is never top-of-the-class but still gets very good grades. Her main focus is getting into the Quidditch team and she loves talking about the sport. In her free time, she also enjoys painting and she will mostly paint when she wants to have some time alone.

Others perceive Aurelia as outgoing, bold, kind, and energetic. Although she sometimes doubts herself and then becomes very shy and quiet. She likes to hang around people who she thinks she will have a long-term friendship with and will tend to avoid people who just want to be acquaintances.
