Eun-ji looks very calm and composed on the outside. She is a master at hiding negative emotions. In her first two years at Hogwarts, she also used to be very kind to everybody. This trait started slowly fading during her third year due to her complicated family situation. Eun-ji remains calm most of the time and to her closest ones, she is still incredibly kind but she is getting harder to read and doesn’t particularly enjoy meeting new people. She is not eager to get involved in any drama yet she is willing to help if the situation demands it. The Ravenclaw is also a perfectionist and it shows. She takes pride in hard work and does her best to have exceptional results when it comes to anything she does. She is smart and has good manners but if you manage to make her angry, her sarcasm is on another level. Eun-ji doesn’t like to pry and hates when people poke their noses into her business.

HISTORY ✧･ﾟ:
THROUGH THE YEARS
PRE-HOGWARTS.

Eun-ji (Caroyn until July 2021) was born on 28th of May in a beautiful city of Chester, England. Her mother’s name is Eleanor Hunt. She graduated from Hogwarts in 1999 and works at St Mungo's Hospital. She comes from a big pure blood family but Eun-ji only got to know them in summer after her 1st year in Hogwarts. Mother says they are awfully arrogant in every way—in conversation, in principle, and in heart. When she was in school, she was sorted in Slytherin as was almost every Hunt before her but she wasn’t nearly as proud of the fact. Eun-ji‘s father’s name is Edward Lee. He is a muggle of Korean origin. He was born in England and seen very little of his country. His parents did raise him in a very Asian way however. He is calm, responsible and well educated. He also made them proud by becoming a doctor. Overall, the only disappointment was his lover. They never gave Eun-ji‘s parents their blessings and so until she decided to change this and change her name in summer 2021, Eun-ji carried only her mother’s family name. Strangely enough, her grandparents do love her quite a bit and they respect her mother as an individual. Supposedly, they would have liked her more if she were Korean. Peculiar mind-set for a couple that abandoned their beloved country but apparently, it was not the greatest place to live after the war. At least that’s what her father tells her.

Eun-ji is an only child and her parents spend most of their time at work, which makes her a bit lonely at times. Thankfully, she has Morgana to keep her company so the house never feels truly empty. Morgana is a Belgian Sheepdog, very smart and incredibly loyal. Eleanor tries to keep her daughter busy with after school activities as well. Perhaps she feels guilty and wants to keep her child occupied, so Eun-ji learns to paint and attends ballet classes. She also loves to read. She will read mostly anything however; her mother’s books speak to her the most.

Eun-ji was told about the wizarding world shortly after her 6th birthday. Morgana was her gift that year and she was so happy she made the whole garden bloom. Her father freaked out a little but her mother couldn’t be happier. She hoped her daughter would share her gift and attend Hogwarts one day. “You are a perfect little witch,” she told her proudly… and keeps doing so. Even if Eun-ji breaks her favourite plates by accident. She never means to do it of course. She is usually pretty calm and patient but we all have our bad days, don’t we?
FIRST YEAR.

Eun-ji is the first Hunt to be sorted to Ravenclaw. She was quite happy about it and is still proud to be one. During the welcome feast, she met Elspeth, who would later become her best friend. She was clumsy but definitely a hard worker and she was kind. Eun-ji had always struggled with making friends but Elspeth managed to get under her skin rather quickly. They didn’t have much in common but neither seemed to mind. The proper bond was forged when Eun-ji saved her friend during bullying incident. A group of Slytherin students (led by Cassandra Ironwoods) started teasing Elspeth and Eun-ji witnessed the whole situation, stepping in immediately. Her poor friend was still shaken from the horrible events at the ball so she didn’t take it well. Eun-ji did her best to help her overcome the trauma and during the Pride week, they finally had a little heart to heart talk.

Other than that however, Carolyn spent most of her 1st year studying or sneaking into the ballroom to practice ballet. There she met couple other students. The most memorable being Ivy Bellamy. Unlike all the other girls she met, she was practising ballet. Unfortunately, the two girls had a pretty rocky start since Ivy defended Cassandra during the bullying incident and continues to do so. Eun-jidoesn’t necessarily dislike her for it since Cassandra is her friend but she didn’t like the way she spoke about Elspeth. It was disappointing to the young witch since she hoped they could practice together. But it seems perhaps there is still hope? Her school year ended with celebration of the House cup victory. The party in the Room of Requirement turned to be half disaster and half blessing. While it was very overwhelming and she had some unsuccessful interactions, she also met Mars Tien and Sylvain Indarys there. Both were quite pleasant company and she decided she would like to get to know them better.

The worst part of her year came after summer camp, which she quite enjoyed and even met a two new friends. Henry Knight and Aaron Jones, who shares her heritage. Once she got home however, she got to enjoy only few peaceful days before all hell broke loose. The Hunt family members she never got to meet suddenly showed up again. Apparently, their oldest son went missing couple years ago and the oldest daughter was unable to bear children. This meant Eleanor was their only hope if they wanted to save their bloodline. They scorned at their half-blood granddaughter but kept an eye on her nonetheless. Should they fail in taking their daughter home and marry her into a good pureblood family, Eun-ji would still be their only descendant. Very flawed one but it was something. Eun-ji herself doesn’t like her newfound relatives at all. They made her nervous right from the get go and when her Korean grandparents got mysteriously hurt, she started to fear them. Carolyn wasn’t told what exactly happened but she had a suspicion her wizard grandfather had something to do with it. Whether it was the case or not, all three newcomers seemed awfully pleased with the situation. Her new grandma even had the audacity to choose her future husband (from a pure blood family of course). Thankfully her parents did not approve of this. The boy seemed quite nice but the circumstances of their meeting were less than ideal. This all made the young Ravenclaw very hesitant to go back to Hogwarts after summer but her parents insisted she had to. It was not as if she could help them anyway. Surely, everything would calm down soon…
SECOND YEAR.

Eun-ji's 2nd year started terribly to say the least. She came back to Hogwarts after meeting her maternal grandparents and aunt for the first time, eager to share her struggles with her best friend. However, instead of her fellow Ravenclaw, she found a letter on her bed saying Elspeth would not come back to school. And just like that, the only support Eun-ji had in the castle was gone. It was the very first time the young witch broke down in tears, seemingly well hidden from any prying eyes. As it turned out the abandoned toilets were not as abandoned as she expected, considering she was discovered only few moments later by her classmate Callie Jensen. A lovely girl who offered Eun-ji much needed comfort.

The young Ravenclaw threw herself into her studies and practicing ballet. She needed a distraction and decided to keep herself busy. After joining the dance club and accidentally meeting Henry Knight outside of the castle, she practiced with the boy while he played a violin for her. She also decided to help her classmates throw a surprise party for their new Head of the House. It was not a very welcome one but considering his reputation…it could have gone worse.

Next on the program was a masquerade. Eun-ji looked forward to it but when she received a dress for it from her maternal grandmother, her mood visibly soured. It seemed Anemone found a way to intercept the post, which was incredibly disconcerting. Still, the event was rather nice and the days following the event were mostly peaceful. She spent them drawing and dancing as well as joining a Christmas errand in Hogsmeade where she helped with present wrapping. Other than that, she spent her Christmas at Hogwarts and felt rather lonely. The only letter she received was from her paternal grandma, who was in hospital and the paper was positively devoid of any Christmas cheer. Eun-ji got a cookbook from her however, which she loved and she got a present from her friend Sylvain as well.

In Ferbruary, Eun-ji got caught up in an attack on Ravenclaw common room and was bitten twice by a shadow tick. Injury, which she failed to mention to her parents upon visiting he hometown during Easter. This was mostly because Hunts were still there and everything was just too complicated. On the plus side, she had gotten closer to her Hufflepuff classmate Lucia Fox. They already met during the first year and then again in the second during the first dance club meeting. The girls decided to practice together and eventually went to the blossom ball together as well.

Going home for summer was scary and as it turned out nothing good was awaiting her there. She would lose her grandma then, throw away her name (Carolyn) and loose a little bit of herself in the process as well. Things would never be the same…[size]

Mordred has chosen Eun-ji as his owner and he definitely acts like it. He is very loyal to her, follows her everywhere and can be very affectionate. He is also incredibly smart and obedient. He is very friendly and gentle when it comes to other animals. The only downside of his personality can be his hostility towards humans. He lets himself be pet if Eun-ji asks him but otherwise he tends to choose his people. If he doesn't like somebody, he will simply ignore them or throw a hissy fit if he deems them extremely unworthy.

Edward is a very principled and responsible. He is confident and takes his job very seriously. Despite being born in the UK, he was raised with very “Asian” values. He is well-educated and honourable man. He knows how to take care of his family and he is at the top of his field. While Eleanor teaches Eun-ji about the matters of the heart, Edward makes sure to teach her about responsibility, dedication and hard work. He is generally less open about his feelings but he is Eun-ji’s rock and he makes her feel safe. Like father like daughter definitely applies here.

Eleanor is very gentle soul and treats both her daughter (and her partner) with love and respect. She is very family oriented but also extremely busy with work. She tries to find as much time for her loved ones as she possibly can but it's not easy. She likes to teach Eun-ji all about healing magic and thinks she may have inherited her talent for it. Due to her kind nature, she is very popular with people except for her immediate relatives and to a degree, her lover’s parents as well. She cut her ties with her own family after graduating from Hogwarts due to them being blood purists and generally really terrible people.

THE LEES
Eun-ji was loved by her Korean grandparents despite the fact that they had never fully accepted her mother. They taught Eun-ji all about Korean culture and the language and were basically a second parents to her when her actual ones got too busy with work. The whole Lee family used to live in Chester together up until she was eight year old. After that her uncle (Edward’s older brother), her aunt and her cousin moved to France and they lost touch for about 5 years. When Eun-ji’s grandma died in July 2021, Edward finally contacted his brother again only to find out his nephew was also a wizard and attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Eun-ji would then get a chance to reconnect with her cousin and the rest of the family.

Min-jun is currently in a long‑term care hospital, suffering from a brain injury caused by his house collapsing (most likely done by Mr. Hunt). He only remembers Eun-ji's father (vaguely) and the few memories he has left are all from distant past. When he was still healthy however, he was quiet but compassionate man. He would take Eun-ji for walks and carve wooden animals for her. It was quite obvious how much he loved his granddaughter before he forgotten her.

Myung-hee unfortunately died in summer 2021 (in hospital) due to serious injuries caused by her house collapsing. While alive, she was like a second mother to Eun-ji and even gave her a Korean name, which Eun-ji took as official after she died. The old woman was strict but loved her granddaughter deeply. She taught her how to cook, take care of flowers and do all household chores. She also made sure Eun-ji grew up to be a self-sufficient and well-mannered young lady.

THE HUNTS
The Hunt side of the family was absent for the first 12 years of Eun-ji's life. Eleanor was always somewhat of a black sheep due to her kind heart and favourable opinion of muggles but when she fell in love with one, the family ties were finally severed completely. It wasn’t until summer 2020 that they showed up again. Apparently, their oldest son went missing couple of years ago and the youngest daughter was unable to bear children. This meant Eun-ji was their only hope if they wanted to save their bloodline. Very flawed, considering she was a half-blood but still… The Hunts are extremely proud of their heritage and will stop at nothing to make sure their family name lived on. Taking Eun-ji’s grandparents out of the picture and finding her a proper fiancé was just the beginning. They now stay in Chester every summer.

Quite frankly, Anwir Hunt is a terrifying man. His menacing presence and cold attitude scares everybody including his own family members. He is a man of few words but he doesn’t really need to say much. Where Anemone manipulates people using words, Anwir is a man of action. He is well-respected member of the Magical Law Enforcement and is very good at making valuable contacts. He is most likely the one behind Eun-ji’s paternal grandparents’ “accident”.

Eun-ji met Charles in summer 2020. He was chosen to be her future husband by the old Hunts (her parents did not agree to the proposal). Charles comes from a pure-blood family and is of Irish origin. He has one brother (Noah) who turned out to be a Squib. A fact his parents tried to hide by sending both children to US. Thankfully, Hunts helped them avoid rumours to the best of their abilities and so the Magnolis family tries to stay in their good graces. This includes offering their son for marriage apparently. Charles himself is quite reasonable young man and is very hard to dislike. Charles has a best friend who attends Hogwarts as well (Kim Sato). They are neighbours and when they met, they instantly clicked.
