History and Background

Caitlyn Boyne was born on the 26th of April, 2008, in one of Buckingham’s muggle hospitals. Her parents, Maizie Boyne and Robert Balding, and her sister, Danielle Boyne, were both very much muggles and for the first few years of her life it was believed that she was one, too. Caitlyn had always loved her family, from her father who worked hard to raise his children, to her mother who made sure that there was always food on the table, a roof over their heads and love in their hearts. Her sister, Danielle, always had advice for everything and her adopted brother, Xavier, was always giving her ideas for adventures. Caitlyn was always so grateful to be graced with a kind and loving family and always reminded them of her love.

Her magic surfaced one day when she was six. It was the final class of the day and also the one she hated the most. Mathematics held a special place in her heart for being the worst subject, but right now she decided that she might as well get through it. She tried her best to remain calm, but her anger flooded her mind and her boredom shone in her heart. Caitlyn didn’t mean to do anything, but before she could comprehend anything, every book relating to the damned subject in that room burst into flames. Everyone, including herself, yelled with panic and her teacher ran off to extinguish the many fires. However, once they were put out, everyone saw that there was no damage done. After that incident that she tried to forget about every day, there were three more like it that made her wonder if magic was real. Now she’s a student at Hogwarts, working away to become a real-life witch.

Personality and Hobbies

As Caitlyn grew up, it was very clear to everyone who knew her that she was definitely an optimist. Nobody had ever seen her frown or shed a tear, nobody remembered a time where she wasn't giggling or telling people to stay positive. It was also extremely well-known that she was full of creativity. The feeling worshipped her, stayed by her side for hours. Everyone would have called her the "Queen of Creativity" if she weren't filled up with happiness and not creativity. And it seemed that every year she was more curious than ever. She was always wondering about things, discovering things. Everyone thought she was amazing. However, the only person who actually knew her was herself. She really just wanted others to have someone to look up to, maybe some hopes and dreams. Things she gave up a while back. Nobody knew what creativity whispered into her ear at night when her parents had to come home a day later from their business trip. Nobody knew how curiosity had her find the fact that love was scarce and kindness has frozen over. Nobody knew that she was stuck in a hole filled with a fake happiness that held her like a puppet held by strings.

Caitlyn enjoys lying on a comfy bed and imagining adventures filled with complete nonsense in her mind. Sometimes, she spends hours upon hours on a single adventure. She also loves to write down these stories afterward and takes pleasure in people wanting to read them. Along with these, she enjoys playing the newest muggle RPGs and visual novels, mostly because she likes getting emotionally invested in the plot, and yoga, except when her back aches when she finishes. At the moment, she's absorbing herself into a new hobby of learning to play the violin, which she's finding to be both fun and a challenge.
