Pre-Hogwarts Background :

Hepheleon Atwood was born on the 15th of April 2008 in Limerick, Ireland. He is the son of Eadric & Mary Atwood (born Woodlawn), two wizards. He has a younger sister, Diana, as well as aunts, uncles, grandparents & cousins. He grew up where he was born, and left the city on very few occasions. Phel had only visited twice the United Kingdom before his arrival in Hogwarts.

Phel grew up in Limerick and, thanks to his father's profession, he started to develop an interest in astronomy and stars. Eadric would often take him and Diana out of the city to flee the nocturnal lights and contemplate the bright, untouched by civilization night sky on the coast. By repeating this activity, Phel developed a certain fascination for the night luminaries, especially the Moon.

On a late summer night of summer 2017, Phel demonstrated his first magic abilities. Busy looking at the reflection of the moon on the garden pond, he touched the water... and accidentally turned the fishes swimming in it white as Earth's unique satellite. His parents only realized it the day after, and expressed a certain relief. His father was particularly happy, for his child had demonstrated magic with a link to astronomy.

Phel has a close relationship with his father and his sister; and although he does not like his mother less, he does not feel as close to her. He had little occasion to meet his family. One of his relative is currently studying in Hogwarts. In terms of friendships, Phel had not that many relation prior to his arrival at the school, for he was just happy just being with Diana.

The older he grew, the harder it became for Phel to concentrate. It is unsure why his attention suffers a deficit, for he has never been diagnosed by a doctor. The only way to concentrate for him is to snap his fingers repeateadly to try to direct his attention on a unique noise. Despite not always being successful, this little trick makes him confident in succeeding in Hogwarts later on.

First Year :

Phel arrived in Hogwarts in September 2019. As predicted by his father, he was sent to Ravenclaw. He meets a few acquaintances while on his way to the school in the Hogwarts Express, notably Callie, a young and mischievous girl who will become one of Phel's closest friends over the year.

Phel's first year at Hogwarts will be a rather calm and peaceful year, with no important event in the boy's life - or, at least, nothing he noticed.

Personality

Phel often daydreams, and almost exclusively about space. He finds himself imagining far-away galaxies, colorful nebulas and often wonders if magic exists somewhere else in the universe. This trait of his personality, however, prevents him from having good concentration skills. He has difficulties to remain focused on his tasks and prefers to explore the limits of his own imagination, even though succeeding in focusing often brings great results. Phel is thorough and has the intellectual and logic capacities that justify his sorting in Ravenclaw.

Phel appreciates social company and tries to maintain good relationships with the people that surround him. He finds that politeness and restraint are great qualities, and will easily be disturbed by people not demonstrating a sufficient amount of these.

Phel is not particularly brave or ambitious, and is capable of putting his ego aside in a situation of conflict. He is however easily walked over because of this trait.

Appearance

Phel is rather tall for his age, and his posture often contributes to people failing to contribute his correct age. He usually walks with his head and his body straight, his brown eyes looking around in a nearly disturbing curiosity. His dark hair is rarely clean and tidy, but he never let it grow too long so that it does not become an annoyance. Phel has a tendency to find his nose too large on his face, even though he has been repeated on multiple occasions that this was not the case. He also has this rather pale skin typical from the British Isles.

Although Phel now wears the Hogwarts uniform on most of his time, he always appreciates having some dark blue clothes on him.

Phel acquired a pendant with a half-moon on it during the summer after his first year, and that piece of jewelry is extremely precious to his eyes.

Frustrated after being stuck in front of Ravenclaw's common room, Phel meets Callie on the sofas. They decide to start training about their riddles skills, so they never end up in the same situation again. [/u].
