All Berntholds have lived near Atlanta, Georgia, in the USA, in a wizaridng town called Randesks. They famed in the area for this, as well as their wealth. The Bernthold Family was brutally pureblood, and disowned any "blood traitors" or squibs as soon as they came of age, and before that, making their life the worst they could. Franklin Bernthold was born in January of 1950. He had a twin sister, named Margita, that he was very close with until she had been proven a squib, the first in centuries in the Bernthold family, and her life was miserable until she turned 17, when she was disowned. He really had loved her with all his heart, and this sparked bitterness toward the pureblood mindset. He married another pureblood, Lucianna Fremlore, to the pride of his parents, and had triplet girls, followed by a son. The most rebellious of the triplets, Casseopia, argued and argued against the pureblood mindset, which infuriated her parents. Though all of them went to Illvermorny, Pearl (Rose's mother) asked to go to the UK to go to Hogwarts. Her parents did not know why, they did not know that Pearl was only seen as a girl at Illvermorny, one the boys liked to toy around with. Her heart had been broken too many times and she needed to leave that place. Pearl became a transfer student at Hogwarts her sixth and seventh year. There, she met her aunt Margita and became close with her. Meanwhile, Casseopia had gone too far- she had started to date a muggle-born, and didn't even try to hide it. She was disowned as soon as she turned 17, and moved to the UK as well. Devastated at the disowning of her child, even though she had let it happen, Lucianna started to convince Franklin against the way of the mindset and eventually, they invited Casseopia to join the family again. To the surprise of all the purebloods around, Franklin and Lucianna stopped the line of brutally pureblood Berntholds, and supported half-bloods, muggle-borns, ans squibs. Along with Casseopia, they invited Castress to come join the family again. Both refused, though, as too many words had been said between them. Pearl, however never moved out of the UK once she moved there, though she did come to visit America often. • paternal backstory Reducio Normal. The Moons were normal. They always had been that- and the only thing that set them apart was their red hair, their naturally red hair, which they got so much praise for. The genes seemed to be extremely strong, because no matter who the redheads of the Moon family married, they would have only redheads. Until Gabriel. Gabriel Moon was quiet and reserved, the introvert of the family. He was looked down upon for being average. You see, the Moons were also very strict, and they made their children get only the best kinds of grades, but Gabe could never quite catch up, with his average grades. He was a dreamer and a reader and never really cared that his grades were only average. They loved him, but his parents always got so frustrated when he didn't care about his grades. They knew there was something different about him. love and loss • Reducio Pearl Bernthold was twenty when she met Gabriel Moon. She was having a lot of trouble with the muggle way of transport. Gabe gently asked her if she needed help, and Pearl tried her best to not reveal her connections to the Wizarding World, but Gabe had his suspicions about why she was so fascinated by technology. "It's like you're from another world," he had said. The very next day, they met each other at their favorite coffee shop. Pearl tried to stop herself from gushing about the muggle technology, and Gabe's suspicions rose, as well as his attraction to her. He asked her out, and they started dating. They dated for the better part of a year before Pearl confessed to him that she was a witch. She had expected him to leave, but he did quite the opposite- he fell even more in love with her. They introduced each other to their own worlds, captivated by it. Pearl grew to know about movies and phones, and Gabe learned about the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts. Until one faithful day, when he asked her the most important question she would ever hear- "Will you marry me?" They had kids. Lots of kids, five to be exact, only one of which was a redhead, but once they were thoroughly finished having kids, Gabriel Moon died, and Pearl was left to fend for herself. • growing up Reducio Rose never got much growing up. Ever since her dad died, her mother was forced to work her butt off at work to keep her and five children afloat. She was too proud to take charity from her family, or anyone, really. She had others babysit her kids while she was gone, paying them, though as low as they would take. Even though their mom worked Holidays, she strictly took off Christmas break every year. It was her two-week break from non-stop work the rest of the year. They would go to America to visit her family there over Christmas, and it was always really fun. Though they tried to visit the Moon extended family, it all went down when Faith caught the curtains on fire when she was really mad. She was only six or seven at the time, and they were pretty much banished from that house. As soon as Faith turned 10, Pearl figured they could watch out for themselves and left them home alone. Rose and Faith were the bosses of the house, they were in charge. Though this brought the siblings closer together, it left them parent-deprived from not seeing their mom as much as the other kids. Rose was the mediator, and she always thought up fun things to do. They learned to play poker together, betting m'n'ms and things like that. Never money, they almost never had money of their own. Rose excelled in muggle school, getting only the top grades. Faith went off to Hogwarts when she was eleven, closely followed by Frankie the next year.
